“Jingkhot Iawbei” is an audio documentary that explores the rich Khasi tradition surrounding the Iawbei, the ancestral grandmother who symbolizes the roots and identity of every clan. The documentary highlights the stories, beliefs, and values passed down through generations, showing how these continue to guide the community today. Through narration, interviews, and natural sounds, it offers an intimate look into the cultural practices and collective memory that preserve Khasi heritage.
