Welcome to, or welcome back to Nightmare Stories!

James thought the worst part of working late was the long, lonely trip home.

He was wrong.

After another exhausting shift, James steps outside into the darkness and begins his usual journey home. The streets are strangely quiet, yet oddly peaceful, and before long, he realizes he isn't alone.

A mysterious stranger appears along his route—a person who seems lost, frightened…and somehow out of place.

What begins as an innocent encounter slowly turns into something James can't explain. Because there's something about this stranger that doesn't make sense.

And by the time James discovers the truth about who—or what—he's been talking to, he'll realize their meeting wasn't an accident.

Some ghosts haunt places.

Others are waiting for someone.
