What does it mean to be ex-military in modern Scotland? This series - from Scotland’s Veterans Wellbeing Alliance - is a rich tapestry of stories from veterans, their families and loved ones, as well as projects and organisations offering help and support to those that need it. Co-hosted by Richard Henderson and Hannah Uttley.

Episodes were recorded in part in Edinburgh's War Poets rooms, where poets Wilfred Owen (1893-1918) and Siegfried Sassoon (1886-1967) famously met and became friends during The Great War. At the time, the building was Craiglockhart War Hospital, and the two men were being treated for neurasthenia (shellshock or PTSD). It is now part of Edinburgh Napier University, and the headquarters of the Scotland Veterans Wellbeing Alliance.
