    SUMMARY

    The Lord's Prayer is an example given by Jesus the Disciples as an example for them to pray. This could instead be called the Disciples prayers because Jesus shows us how to pray. Going deeper in your faith requires us to look for new ways to grow closer with God. Praying the Disciples Prayer is a great way to jump start a disciplined prayer life. We can go deeper in our faith by praying individual parts of the Disciples prayer each day.

    In the world many people work a career and eventually retire. In the church, many serve and at some point, decide to retire from serving. If we take the time to realize how much God has blessed us, we realize that serving is our way of giving back to Him. Instead of choosing to retire from serving we need to find another way we can use the gifts God has given us.

    SUMMARY

    Paul chose Timothy to serve alongside him in ministry. He provides the example for our ministry leaders who should look out in the church and choose others to serve alongside them. Everyone is gifted with different spiritual gifts, talents, and abilities. If you are chosen to serve by a leader do not push them off. They can see your potential and want to help you do the good works God has planned for you.
