Maxine (Winn) Sumner is the owner of Native Son Family Restaurant in Canton, TX. Born in Washington State, she came to East Texas to the hometown of her husband, and business partner (me) to raise their family. All this after working in some of the most celebrated bars and restaurants in the country, including(but not limited to) Harvard & Stone, Chateau Marmont, No Vacancy, & Sunset Beach on Shelter Island.
