今回は、わが家のガーデニング遍歴について語ります。

現在の家に引っ越してきて15年。

もとは純和風だった庭を、洋風の庭へと作り変えてきました。

芝生、バラ、クレマチス、ハーブ、宿根草など、

植えては枯らし、試行錯誤を重ねてきた日々。

私たちにとって、ガーデニングは癒やしになっています。

Along the way, we have laid sod for a lawn and planted roses, clematis, herbs, and perennials through repeated trial and error.

What was once a traditional Japanese garden has gradually become a Western-style one.

For us, gardening has become a source of comfort.

日本を代表する文学賞のひとつである直木賞。

その名の由来となった直木三十五は大人気作家でしたが、

今では彼の作品を読む人も少なくなりました。

大阪で少年時代を過ごした後、東京へ。

彼の生涯をたどりながら、彼の作品の魅力を紹介します。

but today only a few people read his works.

Kazu traces his life and explores the range of his works.
