Welcome to “Sephra: She Rose Anyway,” a podcast born from pain but rooted in purpose. My name is Sephra, and I created this space not just to tell my story—but to give voice to the voiceless, comfort to the broken, and hope to the ones still silently screaming. I’ve lived through trauma that tried to silence me—abuse from childhood into adulthood, losing a child to stillbirth, being falsely accused and stripped of motherhood, feeling abandoned by the very people who were supposed to love and protect me. But through every storm, I rose again—bruised but not broken. This podcast is my heart laid bare. It’s for survivors. It’s for single moms. It’s for those battling depression behind closed doors, for the ones who were told they were too much or not enough, for the misunderstood, the spiritual, the dreamers, and the fighters. It’s for anyone who’s been knocked down but still found the strength to stand. We’ll talk about trauma, healing, mindset, mental health, God, and faith—but also joy, skincare, Korean culture, K-pop (especially BTS), food, music, and the magic that reminds us we’re still alive. I’ll also introduce you to my fur babies—Bear Bear, Suga, and Mama Kitty Isis—because they’re a big part of my healing journey too. You’ll hear laughter, tears, truth, and maybe even your own story reflected in mine. This isn’t a place for perfection. It’s a place for real. Because healing isn’t linear, and sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is show up exactly as we are. If you’ve ever felt invisible, unwanted, unloved, or like you didn’t belong—this podcast is for you. You matter. You’re seen. And no matter how many times life has tried to bury you, you can still bloom. This is your reminder that scars are proof you survived. That your voice is powerful. That you can create a life you're proud of, even if you’re starting from nothing. I’m here to walk beside you, to speak truth, to spark hope, and to show that no matter what you’ve been through—you can still rise. Welcome to the journey. Welcome home.
