• Lessons I’ve Learned from 3 years of Podcasting
    2025/09/19
As I approach my 3-year anniversary for my podcast I have taken a lot of inventory this morning, and wanted to share some of these with you in order to give you HOPE, and Perspective if you are in the pursuit of your goals and dreams! 1. It’s ok to BE a beginner, not an imposter. When I first hit record, I had no idea what I was doing, I didn’t have my voice, and I could hear all those negative thoughts and beliefs from my past try and derail me from even getting started. No matter what we do as human beings, we are not going to be good at first, and that’s ok, it shouldn’t just be easy. Give yourself permission to be a beginner and stay the course. 2. Repetition Decreases Resistance. The more we do anything as human beings the better we become at that thing whatever it is. If you continue to push yourself and learn over time you will find yourself becoming a master at the task you have set before yourself. 3. Dial in Your Expectations. I think its safe to say that we live in a world of instant gratification. We see the finish line in life on social media of everyone else’s journey, and we can get easily caught up in the comparison trap, and that is a dead-end road to nowhere. When you are doing something that only 1% of the population is willing to do expect it to be hard, and difficult, and it should be. If creating the life, you envision for yourself were easy everyone would be doing it, but once most people realize there is actual work involved they are so quick to throw in the towel and return to default blaming other people for the circumstances they have in life. 4. Don’t expect people to cheer you on! When you start to journey down a different path in life you can guarantee to get a lot sideways looks, and people telling you that you are crazy. Most of these comments will be from those who are closet to you btw. What’s really going on is that these people in your life are starting to feel threatened by your growth and transformation, and its causing them to project onto you because they are having to take a look at their own life and their own insecurities. They need to make you feel small because they know deep down they will never have the courage to pursue their own lofty goals of dreams. 5. Get Around Like Minded Individuals. I can’t stress this one enough. As it relates to podcasting we are often in our own little silo, or bubble. You need to be around people who understand your mission, and can offer support, encouragement, strategies that will help you along the way. This is where coaching, and mentorship are critical. I great coach will tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. We can’t see the picture if we are in the frame! Get your feelings out of the way, and be coachable! 6. Consistency Creates Confidence. I don’t think there is some magic trick for those who are pursing success. Everyone’s version of success looks different. We have been conditioned to believe that success is tied to monetary result. That being said I know that I am in the top 1% in the world for being a podcaster. I know this because to hit that goal you only have to create ten episodes or more. Read that again! The bar has been set so low because people give up before result has been attained. Staying consistent and building strong disciplines in your pursuit will pay off ten-fold if you just stay in the game! 7. The Closer You Get, The Greater The Attacks. When I say attack I am speaking about the paralyzing thoughts that we sometimes think of from past experiences that try and prevent us from moving forward or getting out of comfort zones. I think this is just a part of the process, and you must become aware when this happens, note it, and continue to push forward regardless. You can’t change anything about the past, you can only learn the lesson. You can however rewrite your future and that part is completely up the individual. 8.

  • Inspiration From Learning Not To Drift
    2025/09/17
Most people don’t live—they drift. Day by day, they move through routines, convincing themselves there’s still time to get serious about their dreams. “One day I’ll start the business. One day I’ll write the book. One day I’ll pursue my passion.” But for too many, “one day” never comes. They procrastinate until life itself runs out, and the graveyard becomes the quiet keeper of untapped gifts, ideas, and dreams. The tragedy isn’t death itself—it’s dying without ever truly living. It’s carrying potential but never giving it to the world. It’s letting distractions, fear, and excuses steal the focus needed to step into the fullness of who they were created to be. Drifting feels harmless in the moment, but over time, it costs everything. Because life doesn’t stop and wait for us to decide. Every sunrise brings us closer to the finish line, whether we’re moving with intention or not. So here’s the question: will you wake up, focus, and live deliberately—or will you drift into the grave with your best work still inside you? The choice is yours. But make no mistake, time isn’t waiting. linkwithsean.com

  • If You Could Change One Thing About You, What Would It Be?
    2025/09/16
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Every human being has something they wish was different—maybe it’s a habit, a fear, a lack of discipline, or the way they’ve let time slip by without chasing what really matters. Deep down, we all know the answer to that question. The real issue isn’t identifying it—the real issue is whether we’re truly ready to commit to change. Change is never comfortable. It requires us to confront the very parts of ourselves we’ve ignored or avoided. It demands consistency when excuses feel easier, and courage when fear whispers louder. Most people stop at the thought of change because the cost feels too high. They want the results without the sacrifice, the transformation without the struggle. But here’s the truth: if that “one thing” keeps pulling at you, it’s because it’s tied to your growth, your potential, and your purpose. And the longer you wait, the heavier the regret will become. So, ask yourself today—not just what you would change, but whether you’re finally willing to step into the discomfort to become who you were created to be. The question isn’t what anymore. The question is when. linkwithsean.com

  • Inspiration From Having No Regrets
    2025/09/15
Walking the halls of a nursing home can stir something deep inside you. As I recently visited my wife’s grandmother for her 90th birthday, I couldn’t help but notice the faces of those who seemed to be nearing the end of their journey. I wondered—did they live fully, or do they carry the heavy burden of regret? Regret is one of the heaviest weights a human soul can bear. At the end of life, it doesn’t matter how much money we made, how many titles we collected, or how busy we stayed. What matters is whether we truly lived—whether we loved, laughed, pursued our passions, and invested in the moments that can’t be bought back once time slips away. The pain of regret is not measured in days lost but in opportunities never taken—dreams left unspoken, relationships left unattended, courage never embraced. And as the clock winds down, that pain weighs tons. But today, you and I still have time. We still have choices. The gift is in the present moment. Live it boldly. Speak what’s on your heart. Chase what stirs your soul. Because when the final chapters come, regret should never be the story we leave behind. linkwithsean.com

  • Motivation From Magnifying Your Focus
    2025/09/12
What we choose to focus on shapes our lives more than anything else. The saying “where focus goes, energy flows” isn’t just a cliché—it’s a principle that determines the results we see every day. Our minds are powerful tools, and whatever we magnify with our attention grows. Most people, however, spend their energy focusing on what they lack—what they haven’t achieved, what they don’t own, or what opportunities haven’t come their way. This mindset creates scarcity, frustration, and stagnation, because the energy we pour into longing and comparison produces more of the same. On the other hand, when we consciously focus on what we do have—our strengths, our progress, and the resources already available to us—we unlock growth and possibility. Gratitude and attention to abundance shift our perspective and open doors to new opportunities. Your results in life are not determined by luck or circumstance—they’re determined by where your focus lands. Choosing to fixate on limitations keeps you small; choosing to fixate on potential propels you forward. Energy follows attention, and what you feed will flourish. Focus on what matters, appreciate what you have, and direct your energy toward growth—because the life you create begins in your mind. linkwithsean.com

  • Motivation From The F Word
    2025/09/10
Fear—the “F-word” nobody wants to admit controls so much of our lives. It shows up as hesitation, doubt, or that nagging voice telling us we’re not ready, not good enough, or that failure is waiting around the corner. The irony is that most of the time, fear is not reality—it’s our brain’s way of trying to protect us, to keep us safe from the unknown. Yet, when we let fear run the show, we stop ourselves from taking chances, pursuing our dreams, and moving toward the life we were meant to live. We’ll settle for comfort over growth, safety over opportunity, and certainty over the adventure of possibility. In doing so, we miss out on the moments that could define our legacy. Fear is not a signal to quit; it’s a signal to move forward with awareness. It’s a sign that we’re standing at the edge of something meaningful. Courage doesn’t mean absence of fear—it means stepping into action despite it. Your goals, your dreams, and your purpose are waiting on the other side of fear. Don’t let this protective feeling rob you of the life only you were meant to live. Face it, move through it, and claim what’s waiting for you. linkwithsean.com

  • Motivation From Getting Out of Your Comfort Zone
    2025/09/09
Most people spend their lives in a comfort zone—a familiar space where life feels safe, predictable, and controlled. Stepping outside of it, even just a little, can feel foreign, frightening, and uncomfortable. Our brains are wired to protect us from the unknown, to keep us within the boundaries of what we already know. That’s why fear often arises the moment we consider taking a bold step forward. But here’s the truth many fail to see: growth and transformation live on the other side of discomfort. Every breakthrough, every new opportunity, every life-changing experience requires stretching beyond what feels safe. The unfamiliar is not a threat—it’s an invitation. When we push past fear and move through unease, we discover a version of life we never knew existed. Opportunities we couldn’t have imagined begin to appear, doors open that were invisible before, and we start to realize our true potential. The problem isn’t that stepping out is dangerous; it’s that staying in the familiar slowly shrinks our possibilities. Courage isn’t about eliminating fear—it’s about acting despite it. Your next level, your next life, is waiting just beyond the edge of your comfort zone. Don’t let fear keep you small. linkwithsean.com

  • Motivation From Gods Doors of Life
    2025/09/08
Life is a gift from God, filled with divine opportunities carefully placed along our journey. These moments often arrive quietly, disguised as challenges, changes, or risks that stretch us beyond what feels comfortable. The challenge is that many of us walk through life unaware, missing the very doors God has opened for our growth, purpose, and destiny. God’s opportunities are not endless. They come at the perfect time, but they do not linger forever. Sometimes, fear holds us back—the fear of failure, rejection, or stepping into the unknown. Yet, faith calls us to trust that God’s plan is bigger than our doubts. The very moment that feels uncomfortable may be exactly the moment God is inviting you to step into a higher calling. Awareness is key. Being present, listening, and discerning allows us to recognize when God is placing a door in front of us—a chance to act, to serve, to grow, or to transform our lives. Courage is not the absence of fear; it is trusting God enough to move forward anyway. When His opportunities appear, step boldly, because on the other side may be the life He created you to live. Don’t let fear close a door God opened for your blessing. linkwithsean.com
