After a typical pregnancy, Dempsey began noticing that something wasn't quite right with Halle's development. Trusting her mum intuition, she started searching for answers, and at nine months old, Halle was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition involving an extra portion of chromosome 15.

Dempsey opens up about navigating an unexpected diagnosis, the challenges and joys of raising a child with a disability, and how different motherhood has looked the second time around.
