  • The Critical Three-Month Dating Rule (I'm single again)
    2025/10/20

So… I went through a breakup last week. Which means, we need to talk about The Three-Month Rule - aka that moment in every relationship when the dopamine wears off and you may start to see the person you've been swooning over a lil differently.

In this episode, I’m breaking down the arc of my post-divorce dating, the absolutely feral things your brain does when you think you’re catching feelings, and why my therapist Deborah (we love her) is absolutely correct about the three-month mark being a turning point. I’m walking you through how I got back into the dating world and the patterns I keep seeing in myself - and maybe in you, too.

I also read you my list of qualities for my ideal man, directly from my Notes app. It’s giving “manifestation with a side of delusion,” but why bother living any other way, honestly. Plus, we’re talking about the honeymoon phase and how to tell if someone’s actually worth the emotional labor of a hard conversation.

Whether you’re dating, healing, avoiding Hinge like the plague, or just here for the chaos - you are so welcome. Love you, babes. I’m glad you’re listening. Let’s keep figuring this shit out together.

    ✨ In this episode:

    • I cry. Just kidding lmao
    • I explain why three months is the magic number (and not in a cute way)
    • I roast my dating history and read you my "ideal man" list
    • We talk boundaries, patterns, and how not to ignore red flags (again)
    • And I give you permission to get a rebound. A hot one.

  • Don't Make the Chili (aka Learn to Say 'No')
    2025/10/09

This week, we’re getting real about something I know you’re doing too: living for everyone else. Whether it’s making chili on your birthday or saying yes to a project when your calendar is already screaming no, this episode is for the good girls, the independent women, and anyone who’s been caught in the exhausting cycle of people-pleasing.

In this solo episode, I’m talking:

    • Where people-pleasing shows up in my daily life (spoiler: everywhere)
    • Why doing less might actually be the key to feeling better
    • A surprisingly emotional chili-related meltdown
    • My favorite concept from the book Unbound by Kasia Urbaniak

I’m also challenging you (and myself) to pick just three things a day that actually matter—and say no to the rest. Yes, even to the chili.

  • Let’s Get (Mostly) All Figured Out... Again
    2025/10/02

We’re back!!! Season 4 is officially here, and I am so freaking happy to be back behind the mic. I missed this space. I missed you. And honestly, I’m coming into this season with a whole new energy - and a whole new game plan.

In this kickoff episode, I’m reintroducing myself (hi, I’m Emily Rose 👋), and sharing the deeply personal, mostly chaotic path that got me here - from growing up the oldest of nine in a big Polish Catholic family to giving an epically bad chastity speech to a group of fourth graders (don’t worry, I explain), to becoming a single mom, small biz owner, and woman who is finally figuring out what she wants… not just what everyone else expects from her.

I’ve never been a perfectionist - but I am a lifelong people pleaser. I’ve spent so much of my life trying to be what everyone else needed, expected, or wanted me to be. And that led me into some very real moments of crisis, transformation, and (thankfully) growth.

This season, the podcast is evolving. I’m doing something new: every month, I’m taking on a different habit or goal (like waking up early, working out, tracking my spending) and using this space to hold myself accountable in real time. The goal? Progress, not perfection. Just messy, human, hilarious, healing growth.

    In this episode:

    • Why I’m switching things up this season (again)
    • That time I weaponized a chastity talk (sorry to literally all my friends)
    • How pregnancy, miscarriage, and divorce forced me to rethink everything
    • Learning to stop living for other people’s approval
    • How ADHD and radical acceptance have shaped me lately
    • The monthly challenges I’m taking on (and dragging you into with me)

Whether you’re brand new here or you’ve been around since day one, thank you for being part of this. We don’t have to have it all figured out. We just have to show up.

  • 73. Tarot, Spirit Guides & a Broken Down Elevator Moment That Gave Me Chills! (With Beth Metal)
    2025/08/08

This week’s episode is a real treat—not just because my guest is an actual magical human, but also because it happened to be her birthday when we recorded it. 🎉 The universe has impeccable timing, and so does my friend Lauren, who introduced me to the one and only Beth Metal.

Beth is a tarot reader, animist, channeler, and all-around spiritual badass. In this episode, we dive into:

    • Her journey from flower-whispering child to full-on mystic
    • What animism is (and why she once had to flee a Savers mid-sensing)
    • How she got into tarot, what it was like being told “you’re a witch,” and why her first deck cracked something open
    • Channeling spirits (yes, including one in an elevator!)
    • Differentiating intuition from anxiety (this part blew my mind)
    • Why everything—yes, everything—can be a sign
    • And how honoring your inner child can change everything

Beth also shares what it’s like doing readings for others, what questions people ask her the most (spoiler: love & career never die), and what happens when you ask the universe for a breadcrumb and it hands you a pterodactyl.

This episode is cozy, witchy, healing, and full of giggles and goosebumps. If you’ve ever wondered if that weird feeling means something—this one's for you.

✨ Book a reading with Beth or follow her work at @nearbethexperience or at nearbethexperience.com.

🦕 And yes, we talk about the time a drink cup with a dinosaur on it ushered me into a new era.

  • #72. Dating after divorce with Lindsay Robson
    2025/04/18

This week’s episode is such a fun one, and honestly, I wish we could've kept it going because I have SO many follow-up questions. I sat down with Lindsay Robson, who you might know from Nickel City Pretty, Copper & Steel, When’s Food? podcast, the Buffalo Blogger Network… and basically every cool creative corner of Buffalo.

We talked about all of her amazing projects and how she’s managed to keep showing up creatively through all the highs and lows — including her divorce. Which brings us to the real juice of this episode: dating post-divorce.

Lindsay has been on over 60 first dates in the last couple of years (yes, you read that right), and she came ready to share the wild, the weird, and the occasionally heartwarming tales from the dating trenches. We talked about the apps, the red flags, the lessons, and how she stays grounded through all of it.

But the real takeaway? Be true to yourself. Go to that event. Start the thing you’ve been dreaming about. Wear the outfit. Go on the date. Whatever it is — do it for you.

Also… men are something else right now. So, maybe just protect your peace at the moment if you are a single straight woman.

So whether you’re dating, divorced, deep into your creative journey, or just trying to figure things out — this one’s for you.

Thanks for listening, and as always — we’re all mostly all figured out, and that’s more than enough. 💛

  • #71. "I'll take the blonde", A Love Story, with Gramma and Grampa Marciniak
    2025/04/05

Everyone’s in for a real treat with this one — meet my grandparents, Norbert and Rosemarie Marciniak! While visiting them in Las Vegas, I pulled out my mic (much to their surprise) and started asking all the questions: about their childhoods, how they met, what parenting was like in the ’60s and ’70s, and whether hindsight really is 20/20. We even tossed in some audience questions from Instagram!

This episode is one my family and I will cherish forever. I hope you enjoy their stories, laughs, and time tested advice as much as I did. Give it a listen — and if you’re lucky enough to still have your grandparents around, go give them a big hug ❤️

  • #70. From Wrongfully Accused to Purpose-Driven Entrepreneur with Chad Williams of dooProcess
    2025/03/28

In this episode of the Mostly All Figured Out podcast, I sit down with Chad Williams, founder of the clothing brand dooProcess. Chad opens up about his journey from growing up in a large, close-knit family in Brooklyn to moving to Buffalo to attend Buffalo State University. Wrestling played a huge role in his life, and although an injury altered his athletic path, Chad's resilient mindset carried him forward.

Chad shares the powerful and emotional story of being wrongfully arrested while trying to help a friend—an experience that deeply impacted his education and work life. This challenging time ignited his passion for justice reform and inspired him to create dooProcess, a street-wear clothing brand that donates 15% of sales to social justice organizations.

Through our conversation, Chad talks about the importance of family, turning obstacles into opportunities, and how fashion has become his powerful medium for storytelling and advocacy. He also offers a glimpse into Buffalo's vibrant and growing fashion scene and the role community engagement plays in his mission. Chad's story is a testament to staying grounded, embracing life's challenges, and living life freely.

  • #69. Staying accountable: My monthly review strategy
    2025/03/21

In this episode, I'm sharing a simple practice that's already made a huge difference in keeping me on track with my goals — a monthly review. Taking about an hour at the end of each month to reflect has helped me stay accountable, identify where I fell short, and create a plan to overcome obstacles in the month ahead.

For example, I wasn’t as consistent with podcasting this month as I’d hoped. To fix that, I’m putting some new systems in place — like working with a podcast editor (shoutout to Jake!), scheduling a batch of interviews in advance, and shifting most future interviews to virtual. These changes will streamline my process and save so much time!

I love sharing what’s working for me, and I hope this episode inspires you to try something similar. Tune in and let me know what you think!
