  • I Got Sick of My Own Excuses, So I'm Doing 30 Days of This (Day 1)
    2026/09/08

I lay in bed last night and got so sick of every excuse I've been making that I decided to do something about it. Live. On a walk. With no plan.

This is Day 1 of BOMB: Back On My Bullshit. A 30 day lock-in with five non-negotiables, every single day, weekends included: up at 5am with no snoozing, in bed by 9pm at the latest, a minimum of 10k steps split over a morning and evening walk, intermittent fasting, and not one cent spent on food that didn't come from the supermarket. Yes, that includes the gelati shop. Yes, they have Biscoff cookies. No.

This is not a transformation challenge. It's about getting back the rhythm and consistency I used to be known for, because I've spent the last couple of years letting my excuses run the show and I miss feeling good. Think of it as my mini 75 Hard, with the bar set deliberately low so I actually do it.

In this one: why I'm doing it, the five rules, the cafe habit that was costing me, the swimsuit moment that tipped me over the edge, and one very large lizard.

Recorded live on my morning walk, so the audio is what it is. Mic from tomorrow.

If your excuses are creeping up too, come with me. DM me BOMB on Instagram (@morningwithmegsradio) and I'll be your accountability buddy. You don't have to announce it. You don't have to do all five. 30 days in the grand scheme of life is nothing.

Take what resonates, leave the rest.

New episode every morning for 30 days. Follow so Day 2 finds you.

  • It Took 19 YEARS to Diagnose Megs with Endometriosis, Here's What Nobody Checked
    2026/09/03

19 years. That's how long it took from Megs's first period to her endometriosis diagnosis — and she only realised the number when Rhiannon made her do the maths live on this episode.

This week: the endo deep-dive. Naturopath Rhiannon explains the difference between endometriosis and adenomyosis (they are NOT the same thing), why endo is so often an estrogen-driven condition, and the gut test she'd run on day one — including the crazy-named marker that takes the "wrapping paper" off estrogen your body already tried to throw away and sends it back into circulation.

Plus: the endo–IBS link and leaky gut, why the gluten-free aisle can make your inflammation WORSE (looking at you, $8 biscuits), the FODMAP trap — why it works short-term and backfires long-term, the supplements worth knowing about (and why cheap chemist fish oil isn't one of them), how much blood loss is actually normal per cycle (50–80ml — flooding every hour is not it), and Megs's story: the surgery that missed it, the surgery that found it, and the hysterectomy that ended it.

Stick around for the symptom diary method — the single most powerful thing you can bring to any practitioner's office — and the rapid-fire "go get checked" list at the end.

    ⏱ TIMESTAMPS
0:00 — We're back (Megs practised what she preaches)
2:27 — Endo vs adenomyosis: the actual difference
6:59 — Where to start: stress, safety & prostaglandins
9:18 — The gut test Rhiannon runs first (estrogen's escape hatch)
13:32 — The woo segment: generations, energetics & what's actually science
    21:02 — The endo–IBS connection & leaky gut
23:00 — The gluten & dairy trial: how to do it properly
29:39 — Why gluten-free products can make you MORE inflamed
    34:50 — The FODMAP trap: great short-term, a problem long-term
    42:34 — Supplements: NAC, real omega-3s & liver-loving foods
    45:58 — Megs's story: 19 years, two surgeries & a hysterectomy
1:00:18 — RAPID FIRE: the symptoms that mean GET CHECKED
1:03:21 — The symptom diary: exactly what to track
    1:09:11 — Next week: the full woo-woo episode 🔮

💗 We're putting together a free "what to track before you see a practitioner" symptom diary guide — keep an eye on our socials. And if this episode got you 1% better, follow the show: free, four seconds, and it tells the algorithm to keep bringing you back.

⚠️ Not medical advice — this is general education and lived experience. Supplements and approaches discussed are examples, not prescriptions: work with your own GP or a qualified naturopath. Pain that runs your life is not normal — please get it investigated, and if you're dismissed, find a different practitioner. That's allowed.

  • I Moved States To Fix My Life | Ascension Colds, Hideaway Going Under & The Rib Surgery Trend
    2026/08/30

I took a few weeks off, moved states, and came back with a sore throat and three things I could not stop thinking about.

First: ascension colds. If you've felt flat, foggy and slightly feral since the eclipse, there might be a name for it, and I've got the sore throat to prove it. I talk about the habits I'm rebuilding from scratch and the dress that didn't fit on the weekend, and what I did instead of hating myself for it.

Then: business is hard. Stax has gone under, Hideaway has changed hands, and the internet has decided to be vicious about all of it. I've owned businesses. I've got a very different take to the group chat.

And finally, the one I can't let go of: rib contouring surgery, sold to Australian women as a five star recovery in paradise, promoted by influencers, with almost no long term evidence behind it. I'm not judging anyone who wants it. I have a lot of questions about who's selling it.

Plus the new format. Mornings with Megs is live Monday and Friday mornings from here.

Be kind to yourself. Be kind to everyone else. Buy from your friends.

This episode touches on suicide prevention and mental health. If you're struggling, Lifeline is 13 11 14, and Beyond Blue is 1300 22 4636.

  • Hospitalised Twice, Still Showed Up: Census Night, Eclipse Week, and the Truman Show Test
    2026/08/11

I read every question on the 2026 Census so you don't have to. The brand new questions nobody's talking about, the one that's optional for the first time ever, the Jedi thing, and the Time Capsule that gets opened in 2125.

THEN the sky takes over: a total solar eclipse in Leo this Thursday, the first since January 2019. What were you doing in January 2019? Exactly. We're going there: the 2019 question, the performance audit, the Truman Show test (I out my own 3am behaviours), and the homework: release ONE thing, start ONE thing, embarrassingly small.

Also: where I've been all week (a little health update), and the brand new daily bit starting tomorrow morning... THE 1% COUNT.

Take what resonates, leave the rest.

  • The Tin Foil Hat Episode: The Census, Your Apps & Who Really Has Your Data
    2026/08/07

I polled my Instagram about the census and most of you feel like me — weird about handing the government our info. So I made an actual tinfoil hat, did the research… and accidentally discredited myself. Turns out I'm scared of a form I fill out every five years while giving Woolies my entire life for 4 cents off fuel.

We cover: what the census actually funds (and the fine print nobody mentions), why your phone isn't listening to you — and the creepier truth about how ads really find you, the period tracking app that paid a $56M settlement over women's cycle data, secret face scans at Bunnings, why your car is a phone you sit inside, THE robot vacuum story, and my Skeptic's Cheat Sheet — six questions to ask before you hand over your data to anyone.

Plus full disclosure on my two days off: race weekend burnout, the guilt spiral, and why I've decided my discipline isn't the problem — my schedule design is.

Not legal advice, just me, a tinfoil hat, and a lot of receipts. The census is compulsory — I'll be doing mine Tuesday, skeptical and counted.

Live weekday mornings 6:30am Adelaide time. Send me your creepy app stories — I want to feature them.

  • The $50 BILLION Industry Selling Women "Pain Free" (It's a Lie)
    2026/08/05

The $50 BILLION industry selling women "pain free" — exposed. CBD tampons, miracle gummies, TENS devices with wild claims, and the influencers paid to push them: Megs and naturopath Rhiannon break down the 10 best-selling period pain and endo products in the world, the company fined $82,000 over its endo claims, the "clinical study" with 24 people, and the red flags checklist that will save you hundreds. If a product promises NO MORE PAIN — run. Pain is a signal, not a personality trait.

Not medical advice — we talk marketing, not medicine. Pain that runs your life is not normal: see your GP, and if they dismiss you, see a different one. DMs open. Follow the show — it's the biggest free thing you can do for us.

Two quick notes: I described Rhiannon as "naturopath Rhiannon" in the Spotify copy since that's how you framed her on air — flick it out if she'd rather not be billed that way. And the episode names brands, but I kept the descriptions to "an Australian device company" / "a CBD tampon brand" — regulator facts are safe to state, but keeping names out of the description text keeps the searchable, permanent copy in the safest zone while losing zero clickbait power.
