  • Too Many Andy Millers: A Conversation with Five Other Andy Millers
    2026/10/22

What happens when Andy Miller interviews five other Andy Millers?

On this unusual episode of More to the Story, I bring together five other people who share my name for a conversation that is part introduction, part storytelling, and a whole lot of fun.

We may all be Andy Miller, but we certainly don't have the same story.

I wanted to find out: Who are these other Andy Millers? What do they do? Where did life take them? And what is it like sharing a name that, apparently, isn't nearly as distinctive as I once thought?

Along the way, we discover some of the experiences, interests, and stories that distinguish each Andy Miller from the others.

    In this episode:

    • Meet five different Andy Millers
    • Hear the stories behind the shared name
    • Discover the very different paths each Andy has taken
    • Enjoy the inevitable confusion that comes from having six people with the same name on one podcast
    • Find out whether there really can be too many Andy Millers

It's a different kind of More to the Story episode, but one that takes the title of the podcast quite literally. There is always more to the story, even when everyone has the same name.

  • Two Callings, One Mission: Co-Vocational Ministry with Justin Bradbury
    2026/10/15

What if working outside the church isn’t a distraction from ministry, but part of the calling itself?

In this episode of More to the Story, I talk with Dr. Justin Bradbury of the Wesleyan Church and Kingswood University about the growing need for co-vocational ministry, sometimes referred to as bi-vocational ministry.

But co-vocational ministry is about more than a pastor taking a second job to make ends meet. It recognizes that some people are genuinely called to two vocations with one mission: serving in vocational ministry while also living out their calling in the workplace.

We talk about how this model can expand our understanding of pastoral calling, open new possibilities for ministry, and help churches think creatively about leadership in a changing cultural and economic environment.

    In this conversation, we discuss:

    • What co-vocational ministry means
    • The difference between co-vocational and traditional bi-vocational ministry
    • Why the church needs to recover a broader understanding of calling
    • How Christians can see the workplace as a genuine mission field
    • Why someone might be called simultaneously to ministry and another profession
    • How churches and seminaries can better prepare leaders for this model

Co-vocational ministry invites us to move beyond the assumption that “real ministry” only happens when someone works full-time for a church. Instead, we can recognize two callings united around one mission: serving Christ wherever he places us.

  • Canoeing the Mountains and Leading Change with Tod Bolsinger
    2026/10/08

Many Christian leaders discover that the strategies that worked in the past are insufficient for the challenges they face today. In this episode of More to the Story, I talk with Tod Bolsinger, bestselling author of Canoeing the Mountains, seminary professor, administrator, and founder of AE Sloan Leadership.

Tod has become one of the leading voices on adaptive leadership, helping pastors, denominational leaders, educators, and nonprofit executives navigate seasons of uncertainty and change. Our conversation explores the difference between technical problems and adaptive challenges, why organizations often resist change, and how leaders can guide people through difficult transitions without losing sight of their mission.

Drawing from years of experience in ministry, higher education, and leadership development, Tod offers practical wisdom for leaders who want to remain faithful while leading transformation. Whether you serve in a church, school, nonprofit, or business, this episode provides valuable insights for navigating change with courage, wisdom, and conviction.
