概要

🤷🏻‍♀️ Do you wonder where the mystical land of work/life balance is? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️Are you searching, striving, or longing to discover a better way to lead yourself and your family? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️Is your soul weary and often overextended and overwhelmed? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️Do you want to build your business or career but are afraid of letting one of those spinning plates drop? ✝ ✝ Are you looking for older women of faith who can share their nuggets of wisdom and offer you the encouragement you need to be a better you? Well, Marvelous Mom and Magnificant Mom-To-Be, , I’m Misty Hughes, I have been in that place. I spent countless years searching, weeping, and whining to God about the lack of older women who might serve as a mentor for me. I was a young mom, raising 4 kids, divorced, without a clue as to how to live in Christ, manage my home, provide for the family, love my kids, and care for myself. I looked around my church for a woman I could emulate. I longed for someone I could look to for wisdom. I ached for an older woman to encourage me. I wanted someone approachable, someone who had weathered the storms of life and was sailing on to her brighter future. I looked for a ✝ Faith Filled woman ✝ A woman who spoke words of life to others ✝ A leader in the church or community ✝ A woman who was actively reaching out, offering hospitality to younger women ✝ A mom who was encouraging others in godliness ✝ An overcomer ✝ A confident woman ✝ A woman who loved her family well + A woman who worked outside of the home or had her own business I read in my Bible about this Titus 2 older woman; I had images of what that should look like in my life. But I found no one. After a few years of grumbling and complaining, and maybe even a temper tantrum or two, I began to ask God to make me the solution to the problem. At the age of 36, newly divorced and a hot mess, I began inviting college girls to coffee, lunch, or to our home for dinner. My personal journey of being a mentor had begun. Over the years, I have mentored, coached, and taught countless women. I have also had the privilege of meeting many exceptional women who walk in wisdom, insight, and integrity. (The mentors we all long for.) Each week, I invite you to PRESS PAUSE on the busy demands of life, sit around the table with some of the most amazing women you will ever meet, glean nuggets of wisdom from these expert moms, and find answers to the questions your heart is searching for. So, grab your drink of choice, plug in those AirPods, and get ready to drink the encouragement your weary soul needs! • ADHD in Moms — Stop Fighting How God Wired You
    2026/03/12

Hey Kingdom-Minded Mom, could ADHD be behind your overwhelm and shame? Cassy Miller shares how faith, grace, and the right tools can bring emotional healing and peace. 💛

Have you spent years feeling like you're doing everything wrong… while working harder than anyone around you?

You might just be wired differently than you ever knew.

In this episode, Misty sits down with certified ADHD coach Cassy Miller — mom of four, grandmother of three, and someone who spent decades masking, striving, and quietly struggling before finally getting answers in her late thirties. Now she's dedicated her life to helping women do what she had to learn the hard way: stop fighting their brain and start working with it.

    Together, Misty and Cassy explore:

✨ Why ADHD looks so different in women and girls — and why it gets missed 🧠 What's actually happening in the ADHD brain and nervous system 💔 The shame cycle that keeps so many moms stuck in self-blame 🙌 How to build a support system that makes all the difference 🕊️ Why self-compassion isn't weakness — it's the foundation of everything

Whether you have ADHD, suspect you might, are raising a neurodiverse child, or simply want to understand yourself better — this conversation will meet you right where you are.

Because you were fearfully and wonderfully made.

And it's time to live like you believe it. 🌟

  • Reimagining Your Life With God When You Feel Stuck In Survival Mode
    2026/02/26

Feeling stuck in survival mode as a Christian mom? In this episode, discover how God invites you to reimagine your life with hope, healing, and purpose—even when you cannot see the full picture yet. If you’ve been exhausted, discouraged, or unsure what’s next, this conversation will help you begin imagining what renewal might look like in your real, everyday life. ✨

Have you ever looked around at your life and thought, “I’m doing all the right things… so why does this still feel so hard?”

You love your family. You’re committed to your faith. You’re showing up for work, ministry, and responsibilities every single day…

…but deep down, something feels off.

You’re tired. You’re stretched thin. And if you’re honest, you may have quietly stopped hoping that life could feel any different than it does right now.

In this final episode of the Rhythms of Renewal series on the Mom2Mom Mentoring Podcast, we’re talking about something many high-achieving Christian moms struggle to name:

You may not be lacking discipline. You may not be doing anything “wrong.” You may have simply stopped imagining that things could change.

💭 Re-imagining is not about having a perfect plan for your future. 💭 It’s not about fixing your life overnight. 💭 And it’s definitely not about striving for more.

    It’s about permission.

    Permission to believe:

    • “I can live differently.”

    • “God may be inviting me into something specific.”

    • “I don’t have to figure out the whole picture—just notice what’s being highlighted.”

In this episode, Misty Hughes—transformational coach and mentor for Kingdom-minded moms navigating seasons of change—shares part of her own story of becoming a single mom and how, in the midst of heartbreak and uncertainty, God restored her ability to imagine a different future for her children… and eventually for herself.

You’ll learn: ✨ Why exhaustion and disappointment often shut down our ability to dream ✨ How re-imagining begins with curiosity—not certainty ✨ What Scripture says about God’s ability to do more than we ask or imagine ✨ How to notice what the Holy Spirit may already be highlighting in this season ✨ A simple awareness practice to help you begin listening for God’s invitation

    This episode isn’t about answers.

It’s about opening your heart to the possibility that renewal might begin with one small shift in perspective.

If you’re ready to: ✔️ move from survival mode into Spirit-led living ✔️ rediscover hope in a weary season ✔️ and begin noticing where God may be inviting you next

    Because here’s the truth:

God is not asking you to figure out your future. He’s inviting you to trust Him with the next step.

And sometimes… renewal begins the moment you believe a different story might still be possible. 🌿

  • Why Your Relationships Feel So Hard Right Now as a Christian Mom
    2026/02/19

Are you a Christian mom who feels overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected in your relationships? In this episode, Misty Hughes explores why your relational rhythm may be leaving you tired—and how Jesus invites you into restoration through noticing instead of striving. ✨

ㅤ♡ If you’ve ever thought, “I don’t feel like myself anymore…” ㅤ♡ If you love your people deeply but still feel emotionally distant… ㅤ♡ If your marriage conversations feel more logistical than life-giving… ㅤ♡ If your friendships have slowly faded into occasional texts and missed calls…

You may just be living from an unsustainable relational rhythm.

In this third episode of our Rhythms of Renewal series, Misty Hughes—renewal life coach for Christian moms—invites you to take an honest look at the way you show up in your relationships without guilt, fixing, or striving.

Because you know what? You can’t experience restoration in your relationships if you’re too busy performing in them.

Together, we’ll explore: 💬 Why emotionally exhausted moms often withdraw or over-function in relationships 💬 How spiritual burnout impacts marriage communication and friendship 💬 The difference between authentic connection and relational performance 💬 How to begin noticing your “relational dance steps” without trying to change them 💬 One simple awareness practice to help you reconnect with God and others

This episode isn’t about doing a friendship purge or having hard conversations this week. It’s about becoming aware of how your current relational rhythms are shaping your peace, your connection, and your identity.

You’ll also be invited to download the FREE Rhythms of Renewal Mini Workbook for reflection and journaling—and to join the waitlist for Misty’s upcoming 12-week cohort designed for Kingdom-minded moms who are tired of gaining more information and ready to pursue deep transformation.

Because when you move from survival mode into Spirit-led living… You don’t just feel different.

    You shine differently.

And when you shine—you give others permission to shine too. ✨
