A medical scan is supposed to tell a predictable story, especially with age, but sometimes the numbers come back with a surprise. Someone walks up for “healing” and says the quiet part out loud: “I want to commit suicide.” Then another. Then another. What starts as a normal Sunday night church service becomes a sobering, compassionate confrontation with suicidal thoughts, trauma, and the kind of pain people hide until they can’t anymore. We share what happened in that room, why it stunned us, and what we did when we realized this wasn’t a one-person struggle but something spreading through the crowd in silence.

A nap ends abruptly with a jolt and a vision so sharp it feels like reality: someone slips on a tile floor and is badly hurt. When I share that vision later at a miracle healing service, an elderly man named Alan quietly confirms it was him and he is there in real pain, moving with a walker after falling twice. Addiction can feel unbeatable when it has a grip on your thoughts, your body, and your choices.
