  • Minimalist Hotline: A Minimalist Travel Baking Life
    2025/12/15

Welcome to the first Minimalist Hotline episode where Kelly invites a Millennial Minimalists listener to share their story, lessons, or simple living questions!

In this episode, Kelly speaks with Brett Wiewiora, a sourdough baker, educator, and cofounder of Sourdough Lifestyle. Brett began as a home baker before becoming co-owner of Gulf Coast Sourdough in Tampa, Florida, and today he travels the world with his wife Christina and their two daughters teaching virtual sourdough classes and exploring sourdough culture across Europe.

Last year, Brett and Christina completed a major home and life declutter, letting go of nearly everything to pursue a minimalist travel lifestyle focused on meaningful experiences rather than accumulating possessions.

In this conversation, Brett shares the pivotal moments that inspired their lifestyle shift, how their family released most of their belongings, and what he has learned from living out of a suitcase. He explains how he handles sentimental items, what this journey has taught him about his true needs, and how he and Christina are passing minimalist values on to their daughters.

He also offers thoughtful guidance for anyone considering a career change or lifestyle transition, along with practical ways to let go of clutter, reduce attachment to things, and embrace simple and intentional living.

Be inspired to live with less, create more, and design a life that supports what you value most.

  • Essential: Uncover & Break Your Mental Blocks with Brandon Epstein
    2025/10/20

What if the fastest way to change isn't adding more, but rather letting go?

Today we're talking about how to break your mental roadblocks so you can think and feel better. This snippet from Episode 211 features world-class mental performance coach and international bestselling author Brandon Epstein. A former football player, Brandon now helps leading athletes, founders, and creators think more clearly and feel better by upgrading their thoughts and emotional habits.

Together, Kelly and Brandon explore the overlap between mental performance and minimalism, including how our default is to add when we want change, even though the real shift often comes from letting go. They dig into why fear hooks us, how early core wounds shape our patterns, and what it takes to reprogram unhelpful habits and beliefs such as by getting curious, naming our patterns, and rewriting the script.

Brandon explains how the subconscious mind can bend our view of reality when it runs on old beliefs and why our job is to "update the code."

You'll be encouraged to pause and ask: What emotion am I feeling right now? and What do I believe to be true?

Be inspired to pause, get curious, and break unhelpful mental patterns for more peace.

    2025/09/22

How would your life change if anxiety wasn't an enemy to fight, but a whole-body signal you could learn to move through?

In this Essential Series episode, you will learn that anxiety is a whole-body experience and how you can train your mind to move through anxiety instead of fighting it.

This is a snippet from Episode 181, where Kelly speaks with licensed clinical psychologist, bestselling author, speaker, and TikTok therapist, Dr. Lauren Cook, to share insights from her international bestselling book, Generation Anxiety.

In Generation Anxiety, Lauren describes the "three main sharks" that trigger anxiety (our own minds, society at large, and other people) and explains why naming our triggers can help us move through discomfort.

They also talk about how anxiety shows up not only in our thoughts but also in our sleep, energy, and gut, and how certain food choices can cause or worsen anxiety, while others may ease it.

Plus, you will learn how anxiety can run as a habit loop, how avoiding these feelings can keep the cycle going, and how becoming curious about our anxiety and changing our habits can make life feel lighter.

  • Essential: Less Stress in Love, More Connection with Thais Gibson
    2025/09/15

Want less stress in love and more connection? Start by knowing your attachment style!

In this snippet from Episode 201, Kelly sits down with relationship expert and best-selling author, Thais Gibson, to unpack attachment theory and how understanding your own style and the style of the people you care about can make relationships calmer and closer.

Thais explains the four main attachment styles (secure, anxious, avoidant, dismissive avoidant and fearful avoidant) and shows how early formed patterns can linger as unconscious "relational clutter" that shapes how we ask for needs and respond to closeness.

You will be encouraged to think about your own attachment style and you will learn how knowing your style can help you bring calm during moments of conflict.

Plus, Thais and Kelly discuss a real conflict situation between two opposing styles to show how, by recognizing each person's needs, the situation can be alleviated and turned into connection.

Be inspired to understand your attachment style and strengthen your connections with the people who matter most.
