    Once you have the tools and information to solve a problem in your life, what are you going to do about it? In this episode, Cody Barkhouse discusses the concept of working in versus working out, and how they balance it by thinking of themselves as a loving parent to themselves. It is very difficult to work in without beating yourself up, and that self-love is key to maintaining balance. Finally, they mention that eating a cake or ice cream is not self-love, because it hurts the body. Cody also shares how his experience of going through the pandemic changed his perspective on life. He says that it was all or nothing for him before the pandemic, and when everything was locked down he found himself in a position where he had to learn to live in a new way. He recommends reading self-help books, meditation, and practicing Stoicism.
