Back in the saddle this week with Mike McInnes who is the guitarist of Pittsburgh based pop punk band Old Neon. Mike reached out to me a few weeks back about coming onto the show and I'm excited to finally have him on to talk about his favorite movie, The Rocketeer. This 1991 Disney/Touchstone produced super hero movie directed by Joe Johnston (Jumanji, Captain America: the first Avenger) tells the story of Cliff Secord, a struggling stunt pilot who discovers a rocket pack and goes on to become the eponymous Rocketeer. Starring Billy Campbell as Secord, Jennifer Connelly, Alan Arkin, Timothy Dalton (then the current James Bond) and Paul Sorvino (fresh off Goodfellas and Dick Tracy) it's hard to believe that Disney worried that there wasn't enough star power behind this film.
