Michael’s a TV and stage actor who many of you will know from his five seasons on HBO’s legendary series, “The Wire,” in which he played the unscrupulous gang attorney Maury Levy. In addition to more than 100 appearances on TV, there’s his stage career. Michael toured with “Les Miserables” and “The Producers,” and continues to perform in live theatre all over the US. He’s a teacher and author, and the creator of the popular Audition Psych 101 workshop which unpacks the psychological side of the audition process. His latest book is “The Stage Actor’s Handbook,” which is a manual for stage actors on proper comportment while working in the theatre.
