  • EP13: The Soul of the Asanti Nation: How a Golden Stool united people
    2024/12/29

    According to the oral history of the Asante people, the high priest Okomfo Anokye summoned the Golden Stool from the sky. The stool came down and landed at the feet of Osei Tutu. Tutu would then become the first King of the Asante people. The Golden stool has now long been a symbol of strength for the Asanti people and is represented as the centerpiece of the Flag of the Asanti.
