このコンテンツについて
I’m very excited to introduce you to my personal mentor, outstanding educator and dear friend, Mr. Joe DiGiacomo, (“Mr. D.” as we fondly called him). Mr. D. instructed me for History II Honors, Psychology, and Sociology during my Junior and Senior Years at Lodi High School in Lodi, NJ which I gradated from in 1993.
Here's a little background about Mr. D:
One of our "Best" has worked as a Supervisor of Social Studies, Guidance Counselor, Teacher of Social Studies, and Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey among other roles in his life. I attribute an important part of my personal development during that period of my younger life to the positive impact and cherished experiences that Mr. D. imparted on not only myself but on the thousands of countless other lives he has touched in the last 44 years. When you listen to our episode you will get to experience Mr. D on a personal basis during our interview.
At about half way through the episode, we then surprise our guest with other students from across several years who personally thank him for the significant impact he made on their lives. This has been on my bucket list for the past several years and I am so happy to share this episode with our audience and to launch this show!
After you hear our show, reach out to your personal mentor and thank him or her for the positive impact that they made on your life. You will be so glad that you did!:) If you have an Unsung Hero, Mentor, Outstanding Educator, Coach, Athlete, or Other Inspiring Individual who has made a key difference in your life with only a smile and expect nothing in return, please e-mail us at letsrecognizeourbestpodcast@gmail.com. We would like to feature recommendations from our audience and the general public! Thanks for checking out this episode!
