  • SELF HYPNOSIS (Indirect)

    After a long break, training all of 2024, I qualified as a clinical hypnotherapist. I have spent the new year setting up the new business and today I had my first client at Armchair Therapies, in Leith.

    I am excited to share my first hypnotherapy script here, which I will recommend to all my clients. I just taught myself Audacity today and using my new mic. So, I hope the quality is better and it's much easier to set the background music now.

    This is a skill you should practice 1-2 times daily for at least 3 weeks to get the results you desire.

    Before you begin, choose 1-3 affirmations or SMART goals that you would like to achieve. I suggest sticking to one theme at a time. For example, if you are looking to loose some weight, then choose up to 3 clear statements such as:

    I will nourish my body with the fresh, healthy food that it craves

    I will choose to take the time to prepare fresh, healthy meals for myself each day

    I will view healthy eating as an act of self-love or self-care for myself

    Remember to repeat each statement at least 3 times per session morning and night to be the most effective. Aim to do this at least once a day and avoid skipping too many, as it won't be effective otherwise.

    You can use this core technique to implement any changes you wish. This can be much more than just healthy habits. You can start to improve the way you think, feel or react to situations and triggers. The possibilities are infinite!
