    2026/03/15

In this guided Yoga Nidra practice with Ash, you will be lead into deep rest and recovery through the Pancha Koshas, the layers of inner experieince from gross to subtle.

Think of this journey as moving through the layers of yourself:

    from the physical body

    to the breath and energy

    to thoughts and emotions

    to intuition and inner wisdom

and finally into deep rest and presence.

This practise has been created to help you nurture your relationship with yourself.

All you have to do is find a comfortable place to lie down on your back, using as many props, cushions, and blankets as you like, so you can be as comfortable as possible.

If this practice supports you, consider liking the video, subscribing, or sharing it with someone who could use some rest today 💛

    Topics covered:

    • How stillness and silence become portals into Dharma

    • The true meaning of Dharma - beyond duty or destiny

    • Meditation as a way of aligning with nature’s intelligence

    • The difference between universal Dharma and individual Dharma

    • The intersection between modern science and ancient Ayurveda

    • Recognising resistance and the ways we block life’s natural flow

    • The relationship between stillness, clarity and right action

    • The collaboration between your little self and higher Self

    • The “rowboat” metaphor

    2026/02/22

In this episode, Ash explores the magic of stillness, revealing how quieting the body and mind opens access to the deeper layers of clarity, perception and wisdom. Discover how stillness becomes a living practice that transforms how you see and experience the movement of life.

    Topics covered:

    • Ancient wisdom traditions on stillness
    • Helpful analogies for practice
    • How stillness and subtlety create clarity
    • How the past lives in the body as conditioning
    • “We don’t see things as they are, but as we are”
    • How inner state shapes perception and reaction
    • The quiet intelligence of body wisdom
    • Switching background and foreground of experience
    • Two kinds of clarity - Purpose and Pure Being
    • How awareness transforms personality into essence

These insights invite you to see stillness not as withdrawal, but as a powerful tool for awakening, a way to connect with the subtle undercurrent of life that’s often missed rushing around inside the world of ‘doing’.

  • 42. What Is Vipassana? A Buddhist Path to Inner Peace
    2026/02/08

In this episode, I explore Vipassana meditation, one of the world’s most ancient and transformative mindfulness practices. You’ll learn its origins, core philosophy, what really happens in a 10-day silent meditation retreat, and why its teachings continue to influence my own practice.

Although Vipassana isn’t the technique I use daily, the Buddhist principles behind it, including the law of impermanence and the cultivation of equanimity, have deeply shaped my understanding of meditation.

What l cover in this episode:

    1. What “Vipassana” means and its Buddhist meditation origins
    2. How the Buddha taught Vipassana as an antidote to suffering and misery
    3. The 3 pillars of Vipassana: Sila (ethics), Samadhi (mind mastery), and Punya (wisdom)
    4. Why the breath and bodily sensation are the anchors of the practice
    5. The difference between objective truth and subjective truth in meditation
    6. A behind-the-scenes look at a 10-day Vipassana retreat — rules, schedule, and challenges
    7. The Buddhist law of impermanence (Anicca) and why it’s life-changing
    8. Equanimity as the antidote to craving and aversion
    9. How contemplating death can help us embrace life fully
    10. My personal challenges, breakthroughs, and takeaways from Vipassana in India
    11. Why Vipassana works for some people — and why it might not suit everyone

Whether you’ve been curious about Vipassana or are considering a silent meditation retreat, hopefully you find this episode insightful in your own practise and experience of life.
