概要

On this podcast I share guided meditations influenced by my practice of Yoga (Advaita Vedanta) and Soto Zen Buddhism.

Who is this for?

If you would like to try out a beginner-friendly meditation, or build a lifelong practice, then I believe you will benefit from this podcast.

Who am I?

I've been teaching traditional Yoga and meditation for the last 20 years, and practicing Zazen since the mid-90s. Outside of this, professionally I'm a neuroscientist and I currently work in the public health system.

  • Grounding Practice - Guided meditation
    2026/03/19

Today's practice looks at our experience of our bodies and emotions, in order to ground ourselves in the present moment. In traditional yoga this is often associated with muladhara chakra, at the base of the spinal column.

This is always a useful practice, and a useful skill to develop, especially when there are so many distractions around us these days.

I hope this is an enjoyable and/or useful meditation for you.
