If you’ve ever felt like meditation isn’t for you, you’re not alone.
Maybe you’ve tried sitting in silence, felt overwhelmed by your thoughts, and wondered if you were doing it wrong. Or maybe the idea of “clearing your mind” just feels impossible.
In this episode, I share why that version of meditation, the one where you're silent, still, and thought-free, isn’t the actual picture and what you can try instead.
Meditation isn’t about stopping your thoughts. It’s about making space for them, noticing what’s underneath, and gently loosening the grip they have on you.
But to do that, we need tools that feel approachable. That’s why in this episode, I’m sharing with you three different types of meditation to explore. Not because they’re “the best”, but because they’re starting points. Something to try, to play with, and to be curious about.
Even just trying something new with a bit of curiosity can shift everything. Often, we feel overwhelmed by our thoughts simply because we don’t know what to do with them. But when we learn how to look, not analyze, not fix, just observe, we begin to see them for what they are: patterns, not truths.
Meditation isn’t about getting it right. It’s about discovering what helps you feel more grounded, more clear, and more at ease.
Because just like with sport, not every type of sport will resonate. But when you find the one that fits, it can become a space to breathe, reflect, and quiet the mental noise in a way that feels natural.
