Originally from a small rural town in Queensland, Alex has made his way to Melbourne to tackle the next adventure in his life. Along the way he has had several battles that led him into the ultra running space where he found his love for extreme challenges. This weeks M&M Snip is from my chat with Emma about how her brother suffered a concussion during a training session which caused a permanent brain injury. Although quite traumatic for not only her brother but the entire family, this changed the way Emma views her way in playing the game she loves.

A country girl by heart, she has had the opportunity to play for the Fremantle Dockers for the last 7 years which has allowed her to travel the country playing the sport she loves. She speaks about how her rise to the AFLW was different from others, the competitiveness and love her family has towards each other, along with the many tangents we go on.
