Here on Resilience2Redemption podcast episode as a Special guest I’m calling on all prison reform organizations across Missouri to stop working in isolation and come together as one. The issues inside MoDOC—overcrowding, unsafe conditions, lack of oversight—are too big for divided efforts. Only by building joint action plans and presenting a unified front can we create lasting change that protects both incarcerated residents and staff.
To make this possible, as a prisoner advocate for Collectively Changing Corrections I pledge to you to get your state legislators involved now. Passing bills that ensure accountability, transparency, and humane conditions in Missouri prisons requires a united push from advocates, families, and communities. Division weakens us, but unity makes us a force that cannot be ignored. Together, we can bring real reform and transformation to MoDOC.
