Safe Harbor Marinas has agreed to acquire MarineMax in a $1.5 billion dollar all-cash transaction that would connect more than 70 dealerships and 65 marina and storage facilities with the world’s largest marina network. MarineMax shareholders would receive US$53.00 per share, subject to shareholder and regulatory approval. Sunseeker has set out a 5-year plan to strengthen governance, improve operational predictability and rebuild its position in yachts above 100 ft.
