March 16, 2025 Sermon - Finding Peace In The Presence Of God

  • サマリー

  • This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:

    Finding Peace In The Presence Of God

    Have you ever felt like the walls are closing in? Maybe it’s the slow grind of money troubles-your paycheck stretched thin, bills piling up like a mountain you can’t climb. Or perhaps it’s a friend’s cutting words, leaving you raw and wondering who you can trust. Maybe it’s those restless nights when sleep won’t come, and your mind spins with "what ifs" and "if onlys." I know that I have experienced most of these!

    We’re not so different from David, are we? We live in a loud world-TVs shouting, phones pinging, social media buzzing with opinions and outrage. It’s a time when people chase likes and trends like they’re gold, while hope feels scarce and faith gets a side-eye. This means that faith-whether in God, in people, or in something else-is being met with skepticism or suspicion.

    But Psalm 4 crashes into that noise like a lifeline, tossed from an ancient king to you and me right here, right now.

    It says there’s a God who hears us when we call, who claims us as His own, who can steady our shaky hearts and give us peace when everything else falls apart.

    * * * * *

    Once again, thanks for joining us in our time of worshiping the Lord through His Word!

    “Scripture quotations taken from the Holy Bible: New American Standard Bible. 1995. LaHabra, CA: The Lockman Foundation.

    The music "Revive Us Again" and "He Is Lord" arranged and played by Don Wigton. Used by Permission.
