Jamie’s tips to Make time for beginning a meditation practice is all about setting aside perfectionism: you don’t have to meditate in the morning if you’re not a morning person and if you only have one minute to be still, that still counts! She talks about different styles of meditation including breathwork, chanting, mantra, visualization, or focusing on an object. All of these methods anchor practitioners to their breath and to the present moment, training their minds and regulating their emotions in the process.
