OUR FIRST GUEST:
Molly Hicks (she/her) is a brand strategy badass and founder of the self-named brand strategy and design micro-agency that helps busy AF entrepreneurs make shit happen. Her out-of-the box, cookie-cutter free strategy helps biz owners build sustainable systems that not only grow their business but also make sense to their unique way of thinking. When she's not working with entrepreneurs to revolutionize their fields and flip what's "normal" on edge, you'll find Molly at home with her family. If she's not out "catching Pokémon" with her toddler, or riding the motorcycle with her partner Steven, she's most likely sinking hippopotamus like amongst the bubbles in the bath with some Moscato in hand.
Drudgery Dream or in Between?
Every week we start off by asking where our hosts are on the DDiB spectrum. This week we found out that Molly is very much in Between; with things on the horizon she knows that the dream is just around the corner. Anglea this week is way closer to the dream than ever before, her online course is coming along and she couldn’t be more excited! As for Cob, they are in the dream. After releasing the limiting belief that money is sparse they were able to book a high value client!
Price Check!
We have all been there, we have been in business a while and we are over worked and underpaid. We put in the work and now we want to reap the rewards, so what do we do? RAISE YOUR DAMN PRICES! There are 8 billion people in the world, but you just need 10 who are willing to pay your price. Stop stressing over who can afford what and start charging what you KNOW you are worth!
Working for yourself.
Have you considered taking the leap and starting your own business? Molly shares with us her story on how she was FORCED out of the work force and had to work for herself. She also shares som incredibly useful advice for anybody considering taking the plunge, and when you do make sure you check her out for all of your branding needs!
What is my worth?
Hourly rate and billable rate are two completely different things! Molly is here to share her tips and tricks on finding out if you are even charging enough. The most important thing to remember is to never compare yourself to your competition, you are worth what you are worth!
