I've used this analogy before, but it's like we're being drafted in the direction of our own dreams. Your number came up. It’s time to leave the familiar limitations and uplevel to a better plan. The paradox is: having the dream is not the hard part. Separating from the dissatisfaction is.

It’s your responsibility in this eclipse window to shed that past story, to bring yourself back to the present moment, and move forward from wholeness. No one self-heals isolated in a vacuum. Find healers and allies that can help you.

This Pisces Lunar Eclipse brings the Sun in Virgo diametrically opposed to the Moon in Pisces. This is a recipe for drifting away (Pisces) from what was once everyday practice or routine (Virgo). Drifting away from judgements and restrictions on your personal identity, how you think of yourself, and what is truly useful and supportive in service of your soul’s experience on this planet. Tis the season for intuitive dissolving of previous go-to people/places/patterns and sudden realizations of emotional or soul-level truth and awareness. The soul says enough, change it up, this is no longer the path, a practical exit is necessary.

It’s the luckiest week of the year, to summon your shadows, restrictions, and fears.

This Aquarius Full Moon is Death + Rebirth on Steroids. Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo opposite moon conjunct Pluto brings a wrecking ball to all that is inhibiting your growth path forward. Imagine a cave. This cave is formed by rock walls of all your self-limiting beliefs, trauma-derived thought loops, or toxic subconscious trigger reactions. Pluto is a wrecking ball to that cave!

The actions we anchor today are for long-term planning, building long-term stability, security, and prosperity. New discussions must be had. The story we tell about ourselves must be reinvented to match the future you're actively becoming.

Where This Hits Closest to Heart: Relationships: Aye aye aye relationships! Mars in Gemini in an exact square to Venus in Virgo. Strong, rupturing words come in hot and fast. It’s near impossible to see other perspectives, to zoom out from our own shrewd judgements. Gemini always wants connection, discussion, an exchange of ideas to expand the knowledge. Virgo always wants to take in what’s useful and change the physical circumstances, how it looks, how it feels. Venus in Virgo wants a solid end result, a process to work with. Mars in Gemini might act or speak too drastically and ruin that potential. Mercury is still in Cancer, and sits in Mars’s blindspot. This new moon you are breaking away from that old emotional shell of shadows and choosing to receive experiences differently in order to create experiences differently.

Our Cancer New Moon is divinely aligned with our retrograde Mercury. Tis the season for confronting nostalgia and extra-sensitive triggers (triggers cooked into us via family trauma). We’re revisiting old sources of imprints: people, places, and circumstances that shaped us. You could be literally traveling back to somewhere that really meant something to you, or a “special familiar place” might be conjured in the interactions you’re encountering locally. Either way, we feel like we’re back in the same shoes, but we now realize how impossible it is to walk forward in the same old manner.

Subconsciously we play along the same route, dance the same steps, no matter the place or time. It doesn’t matter who we’re with or where we travel to. We wander into the same shadows everywhere we go because the shadows are cast from within us. Today we Break the Shell of Shadows!

We are Cycle-Breaking!!
This Capricorn Full Moon you’re being asked (rather forcefully) to release something you've clung to for protection and belonging. This is a role you played, or an exclusionary belief you maintained… Something you tried on Because of the pressured stellium in Cancer, this could have been a form of emotional volunteerism, a way you learned to operate to better hold space for others. It’s something you've outgrown. Let it fall. It’s keeping you small.

Emotional Identities and Goals Released and Repriotized: Same day as full moon Mercury stations retrograde. Things will not go as planned. There will be an upset or upheaval in the mix. Taurus and Scoprio are energies of money, property, and emotional entanglement. It gets real messy, real quick. The ugly side of your emotional patterns, and the ugly side of the property you rent, own, and share are in the spotlight. You know the saying “you get what you pay for”? You’ll be confronted with the energetic and empathetic cost of your current relationships and property. Taurus is about financial investment, and Scorpio is about emotional investment.

REMOVING THE MASK

This new moon is very much putting our rightful self-expression and will to create personal fulfillment against where we are currently implicated by and entangled within the wrong crowd.

Leo is known as the performer, the skilled showman. But is the part you play coming from the heart, out of authentic, sovereign self-love? Or is it a crafted character assumed for protection, out of fear, or for material possessions? Mercury retrograde here this month will help to shed light on what you're participating in and why. This New Moon directly opposed to Pluto plus Mars conjunct the South Node in Virgo will help you take steps to cast off that mask and never pick it up again.

Leo is our sacred roar. This Gemini New Moon makes it real easy to make up your mind about what you no longer care about. “Why am I prioritizing this as part of my day?"

Tis the season for profound realizations and radical adjustments to what you rationalize as “rewarding” in your regular routine. We are invited to take solace in sincere, heart-level honesty to draw new conclusions as to what is still worth your time and energy, and what is not.

Gemini is adaptable to a fault. It’s the day to day, moment to moment interplay of interpreting the world as it is right… exactly… now. “Now” is always moving, hence the Gemini urge to stay in motion, fidget, wander, and inquire. This is mutable air. We change, adjust, and reroute depending on the information and influences immediately at hand. (Gemini rules the intellect and the hands!) When new information comes in, we incorporate that and reconsider. This is why Gemini energy can be seen as flaky, inconsistent, or self-contradictory; it’s not that Gemini is undecided or uncertain. Gemini merely seeks to take all the details into account and sees the multiple ways these details could play out.

Gemini’s ruling planet is Mercury, so this Gemini New Moon is directed by Mercury currently in Cancer, pumping the brakes as it prepares for its 3-week retrograde.
