This full moon you kind of can’t pretend its okay anymore. Very gently, it’s not okay anymore. In one, but probably a few, areas of life, it’s time to go beyond the default, lazy band-aids and move into methods, speak up for situations, that YOU choose, that align with what you actually need right now to support forward endeavors.

The Sun is at 20 degrees of Gemini. The Moon is exactly 180 degrees across the diameter at 20 degrees of Sagittarius. And they are not alone! This full moon is actually squaring the nodes of fate currently occupying the other two mutable signs of transformation, movement, and change: Virgo and Pisces. North node sits at 22 degrees of Pisces. South node at 22 Virgo. This is a karmic choice point. The decisions, actions, and conversations that occur this week are important soul steps that impact the course of the next 6 to 18 months.

Before you get all discombobulated with that information, remember, this full moon is refreshingly straightforward. Here’s the formula:

North node in Pisces is about reaching for the higher purpose, trusting when things suddenly falling away, making space to delve into art and creativity, taking note of our dreams, our intuitive sense, and meditative visions.

South node in Virgo is about releasing, purging, cleaning out the analysis paralysis, perfectionism, rigid judgements, and over-reliance on the material matters.

Moon in Sagittarius is about expanding, exploring, experimenting, moving into our purpose, and honoring our personal code of justice, right, and wrong.

Sun in Gemini is about what we can do, who we can email, where we can go and try something out TODAY (with an attitude of learning and play).

Happy New Moon, and thank you for deciding to spend some time and attention with this episode, because this week, time and attention are in real short supply!Bold new beginnings are suddenly unleashed. A lot of them. Maybe too many at once. Wow, there’s a lot going on this week. All of the silent irons in the fire suddenly popped off all at the same time, and daily life runs the risk of being too big, too hot to handle.

Hours before this Gemini New Moon, Saturn just ticked its way out of 29 Pisces (the very very last degree of the zodiac) and crossed OFFICIALLY into 0 degrees of Aries – the very very first degree of the zodiac! Saturn is the manifestation of physical karma. Saturn brings what we earn through action and intention over time. Saturn is also realistic divine timing; when all the pieces line up internally, externally, energetically, financially to create that full-bodied: “Yes, now it’s real!” These are confident initiations of what’s been not only needed, but prepared for, for months maybe longer.

Where Saturn sits today at 0 Aries, Neptune just made its own monumental transition. Neptune helped to wash away and dissolve any ties to the past, the old self-story, the wounded child ego. We’ve been loosened from previous mentalities saturated in unworthiness, enmeshment, shame, codependency, competition, hyper-independence, or undue obligation that would keep us from believing in our ability to begin again.

Have fun with it! This is about honoring your unique individual approach to life. Trust in everything coming to fruition right now like a kid who was never told this was impossible.

Not to cause dismay, but this May is kind of, seriously though, the crux of the year. And this year, 2025, is kind of the crux of your lifepath. I’ll explain.

Today’s Scorpio Full Moon is ruled by Pluto, which for the first time in eons is fully in Aquarius. Yes, this is the opening of the Age of Aquarius you’ve heard so much about. Pluto, the subterranean charioteer, is bringing us into new beginnings – not so much through glorious conspicuous conquest, but by dismantling what is destined to be left behind.

In nature, what is allowed to decompose is never wasted. That which is cut and returned to the soil becomes new life in just a few months. But what remains stagnant... festers. Breeds disease. Chokes divine flow.

This brings us back to our big theme: Compost.

Etymology is so telling. Study the ancient origins of words; this is literally how we cast the spells and speech that transform imagination and intention into reality.

Com/post: Com - with/together. Post - after/behind.

To “compost” is to “be with what is behind us.” To let it sit, let it break down. Let it attract insects, ooze, and liquify into that primordial soup from which all new life must spring.

This full moon, the Taurus sun will illuminate the patterns, practices, people, and places that need to be severed and laid to rest. Because Pluto is such a major player in this full moon, as is Saturn in the final degrees of Pisces, these things of ours that need to be put down may be quite private and personal, like unspoken desires, passionate intense feelings of victimhood, rage, or blame. This is the personal egoic framework which dictates what and how we choose, act and advocate for ourselves.
