    To read the Gospel of Luke is not to learn merely as knowledge the lessons about the lost sheep and the steward, about faith and prayer. It is to know how God sought and saved lost sinners, and to believe in the heart the gospel of the water and the Spirit that Jesus Christ completed with the baptism He received from John the Baptist, the Cross, and the resurrection. Volume 4 of the Gospel of Luke shows what the person who has believed in this salvation must rejoice in, whom he must rely on, and what he must live for. The person who has received the remission of sins gives thanks for the grace of God and serves the gospel together with the Church.

    Luke chapter 15 continues with the parables of the lost sheep, the lost drachma, and the son who left home. The three parables look different, but their center is the same.     In Part 1 above, we looked at each passage of Luke chapter 15 side by side, through the general interpretation of the text and through the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Now, following the flow of the same text, we will look in detail at the heart of God, who seeks the lost sinner; the grace that restores the sinner who has returned; and the faith that abandons its own righteousness and takes part in the joy of saving souls.
