  • Yoga Nidra for Nervous System Regulation
    2026/04/03

This Yoga Nidra practice is an invitation into rest, awareness, and nervous system regulation.Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation traditionally practiced lying down, allowing the body to deeply relax while awareness remains gently present. This fourth practice continues building on the foundations established in Nidra 1 through Nidra 3, introducing subtle breath-based regulation and deeper nervous system settling.Rather than trying to control or force relaxation, this practice allows regulation to happen naturally. Through a steady rotation of awareness, gentle breath observation, and the exploration of opposites such as tension and ease, the body and mind are given space to rebalance. There is nothing you need to achieve here.Nothing you need to fix.Simply allow yourself to rest and observe. This practice is suitable for:• Nervous system regulation• Releasing physical and mental tension• Deepening internal stability• Strengthening the breath–body connection• Continuing a structured Yoga Nidra progressionYou may want to practice lying down in a warm, quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. Feel free to use blankets or props to fully support your body.✨ Join the Cosmic Kitteh CommunityA space for rest, presence, creativity, and real connection:👉 https://skool.com/cosmic-kittehIf this resonated, leave a word below that reflects home, center, or settling. If you’re interested in building a space like this for your own community, you can explore Skool here:https://www.skool.com/skoolers/about?ref=3d81a5fa6e694bd6b28f0c62eb490504(I may earn a commission if you choose to join through this link.)🧘‍♀️ About this seriesThis Yoga Nidra is part of an ongoing exploration of rest and awareness, inspired by traditional Satyananda-style foundations. • Coming Back — Breath Awareness
    2026/03/20

This is the second meditation in the Coming Back series — a simple breath-awareness practice inspired by the teachings of Ram Dass.In this practice, we bring awareness to the natural movement of the breath in the abdomen — the gentle rising and falling with each inhale and exhale. You may silently note “rising” and “falling” if that helps steady attention, or simply stay with the direct sensation of breathing. The mind will wander. That’s natural. The moment you notice you’ve drifted and gently return to the breath — that is the practice. This meditation includes intentional periods of silence. The silence is part of the training. As this series continues, the silence will gradually become longer, with clear notice given each time. You can practice seated on a cushion, seated in a chair, or lying down if that’s what your body needs. If sleepiness arises, take a few slightly deeper breaths and return to natural breathing. If you’re new, you may want to begin with Practice 1 before moving into this one.To practice together and explore more presence-based work, you’re welcome to join the free community here:https://skool.com/cosmic-kitteh

  • Coming Back — A Simple Breath Awareness Meditation
    2026/03/13

This is the first practice in the Coming Back series — a simple breath-awareness meditation inspired by the way Ram Dass returned, again and again, to presence. The practice is uncomplicated:Notice the breath.Notice when attention drifts. And gently come back. That’s it.This meditation includes brief, intentional periods of silence. The silence is part of the practice — not a mistake, and not a test.If your mind wanders, you’re not doing it wrong.Noticing that you’ve wandered is the practice. Each return to the breath is the meditation. You can practice seated on a cushion, seated in a chair, or lying down if that’s what your body needs. Comfort matters. This is a short, supportive starting point. As the series continues, the guidance becomes lighter and the silence gradually becomes longer — always with clear notice. If you’d like to practice together or explore more gentle, presence-based work, you’re welcome to join the free community here:https://skool.com/cosmic-kitteh

  • Metta Meditation — Gentle Expansion Self → Others
    2026/02/28

This Metta (loving-kindness) meditation is a gentle practice of offering care and goodwill — beginning with yourself, and gradually expanding outward to others and to all beings.Metta is not about forcing positive feelings or getting into a specific emotional state. It’s an intentional practice of kindness, allowing simple phrases to be offered softly, exactly as you are.We begin by turning inward, meeting ourselves with care. From there, the practice naturally widens — to someone easy to love, to a neutral presence, and finally beyond individuals, toward all beings. There’s nothing you need to fix, change, or improve. If the words feel natural, let them land.If they feel distant or awkward, that’s okay too. This practice is suitable for:• Cultivating self-kindness• Softening stress or emotional tension• Building compassion without emotional effort• Grounding and nervous system support• Anyone new to Metta or loving-kindness meditationYou may practice seated or lying down, with eyes closed or softly open — whatever feels most supportive in the moment.✨ Join the Cosmic Kitteh CommunityA space for rest, presence, creativity, and real connection:👉 https://skool.com/cosmic-kittehIf this meditation felt supportive, you’re welcome to like, subscribe, or share it with someone who could use a moment of gentleness today.
