Dooney Johnson became the fourth recruit to commit to Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the month of October, and the team's first commitment in the 2027 class! Johnson was on campus for an official visit for Gonzaga's exhibition win over Western Oregon on Monday, and said the team's support of Tyon Grant-Foster played a big role in his decision to come to Spokane.

Johnson is a 6'5 guard from Milwaukee who should fit nicely at Gonzaga thanks to his positional versatility, toughness, physicality, and ability to get to the free throw line. He chose Gonzaga over Wisconsin, Marquette, Indiana, Missouri, and others.
