Tennessee Titans legend Chris Johnson made a tragic announcement this week that rallied the entire football community behind, but of course there has to be someone to make it about them and we saw that this week with Dan Lebatard's comments criticizing the interview. This is typical behavior from a well-respected media voice, but with a Titans legend involve it does strike a nerve. Now is not the time to use this as a tool against the NFL. Also, there are some big mysteries the Titans are facing as they look at the roster. On offense, the starting offensive line is still up for grabs and the depth at offensive tackle is still shaky. Add in depth questions at tight end and you still have a lot to figure out. On defense, outside of the trenches, there is no certainty on any of the depth at any of the spots in the back seven.

Jeffery Simmons is the second-best defensive player in the NFL so disrespect is the only thing you can take from his ranking of 83rd in this year's NFL Top 100. Yes the system is flawed and rankings don't ultimately matter, but it's a frustratingly insane ranking and further illustrates how the Titans get taxed in any public setting. That is why it is so important they turn things around starting this season. It has been unbearable as a fan for the team to not only be lacking in on-field success, but to also deal with a lack of respect for the players who actually deserve it. Titans fans everywhere need this to change immediately. Finally, one of the big things that has Titans fans excited for this year are the new uniforms, but there is still more to come with Nike dropping their rivalry sets later this summer. We may have gotten a sneak peek though in the form of some shoes. If close in design, the new rivalry uniforms are certain to be a hit.
