The New York Knicks face a pivotal question: Could Mohamed Diawara be the team’s most intriguing X-factor next season? Gavin Schall and Geoff Rasmussen break down Diawara’s promising rookie campaign, debating his offensive upside as a 6’9” wing with a 7’4” wingspan and surprising 3-point touch. With flashes of high-IQ passing and the ability to punish defenses from the corner, Diawara’s role in Mike Brown’s rotation—and how he slots behind OG Anunoby and Josh Hart—could reshape the Knicks’ second unit.

Key topics include Diawara’s development as a finisher at the rim, questions about his defensive versatility, and whether he can carve out a playoff rotation spot alongside stars like Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Mikal Bridges. Can his rare physical profile and evolving skillset help New York stay atop the Eastern Conference? Don’t miss this deep dive into the Knicks’ future.

The New York Knicks showcased a glimpse of their unstoppable offense in preseason finale: can anyone solve the Jalen Brunson–Karl-Anthony Towns connection? XJ spotlights Brunson’s evolution into an elite cutter and the unique challenges Towns creates as a playmaking hub, breaking down how Jakob Poeltl and the Toronto Raptors struggled to contain the Knicks' potent attack.

The conversation shift gears to the final roster battle with deep dives on Pacome Dadiet, Bruce Brown, and James Wiseman’s odds to make the team. XJ questions the wisdom of dumping young talent for a low-impact veteran. He also highlights the Raptors’ switch-heavy, wing-laden lineup as the toughest defensive test the Knicks will face in the East. Can OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges, and the Knicks’ ultra-efficient offense maintain their dominance against an elite defense like Toronto's?

00:00 – The Brunson-Towns connection is getting BETTER
01:30 – How Brunson and Towns are evolving
12:00 – The Knicks should NOT dump Dadiet for Bruce Brown

Gavin Schall is joined by Rights To Ricky Sanchez writer Dan Olinger to talk about what Cam Payne brings to the Knicks, how the two teams match up after their offseason barrages, how Paul George and Mikal Bridges could reshape each team and whether either could steal the one seed from the Celtics.

Gavin Schall and Alex Wolfe team up to rank every asset the Knicks have from players to picks. Is Julius Randle worth as much in a trade as the team's distant future first round picks? Is Deuce McBride sneakily even more valuable than Donte DiVincenzo on his absolute bargain of a contract?

The boys have those answers and much more on this edition of Locked On Knicks.

Size matters? Despite being battered and bruised the Knicks showed the size of their hearts, grinding their way to three straight wins to start their West Coast swing.

Unfortunately while their heart didn't give out their height did against the defending World Champs.

Gavin Schall recaps why size was the difference against Denver, continued brilliance from Jalen Brunson and Isaiah Hartenstein, Alec Burks heating up and the race for the three seed going forward.
