    We experience energy everyday in our lives. When you're at a party and someone's presence "lights up the room" or when a friend says that they're "fine" but you can sense that they aren't.


    The energy you put into the world is either helping you experience what you desire or repelling it away. Consider going to your boss to ask for a raise, if you show up feeling small and insecure will that impact their response? Would their response feel different if you showed up with positivity and confidence?


    There are 3 things we should be mindful of when it comes to energy.

    1. Consumption

    What are you bringing in through all of your 5 senses? The things you eat, watch, listen to, etc.


    2. Surroundings

    The people and places we surround ourselves with are either lifting our energy or depleting it.


    3. Activities

    Notice how activities like dancing feel versus binge watching TV, very different energy.

    1. Declutter

    Not just your space but your entire life. Do a life audit to assess what's raising your vibration and what's lowering it. Use that information to set new boundaries and shift your focus.


    2. Movement

    Motion = Emotion. Emotions are Energy in motion. Raise your energy by moving your body.


    3. Nutrition

    Notice how some foods make you feel uplifted and bright while others make you feel heavy and dense. Welcome in more foods that make you vibrate higher.


    4. Positive Perspective Playlist

    Road trips and gym sessions alike require a curated playlist to keep us amped up. Use your PPP to raise your vibration anytime you hit a slump.


    5. Mindset

  • 10 Years, 10 Lessons, 10k+ Invested

    I recently celebrated 10 years of teaching in the self care, self healing, spirituality and self development worlds. While reflecting on everything I've learned in this last decade, I came up with 10 of my most valuable lessons.1. The importance of the mind-body-spirit connection. You cannot be well in one without also being well in the others. 2. The importance of a morning routine, the first 10 minutes of your day set the tone for your entire day. The quality of your days = the quality of your life. A good nighttime routine lays the foundation for a good morning routine. 3. Your Brain is NOT your friend. Your brain is wired for survival not to help you thrive. Working on your mindset is essential for success. 4. Micro habits and micro goals help us build motivation and confidence over time. Setting goals that are too big cause us to quit early when progress doesn't happen the way we think it should. 5. "I'll be happy when..." aka the arrival fallacy prevents us from finding fulfillment in life. Find fulfillment by practicing gratitude. 6. Emotions are a range, you can't go from despair to joy. Emotions are like a ladder you slowly climb. 7. "You can't pour from an empty cup", except you do, probably too often. What's in your cup spills out into every area of your life. When you are frustrated, stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, etc that's what you pour into your relationships, your career, your home, etc.8. Your purpose doesn't have to be finding a cure for cancer or saving every animal in a shelter. Being a source of positivity creates a ripple effect into the world. 9. Your energy attracts EVERYTHING. 10. Your intuition is the key to the life you're meant to live.
