このコンテンツについて
In tonight's powerful episode, Lisa opens up about the greatest challenge she’s faced since infancy—living a life marked by chronic pain. From having a finger surgically removed at just 18 months old to enduring seven surgeries before turning 17 (and nine total), Lisa has never known a pain-free day.
She shares how one knee surgery in particular altered the course of her life, leading to years of ongoing structural pain in her back, neck, and hips. Doctors warned her against certain movements and activities, placing heavy limitations on a young woman trying to experience life. Told to avoid roller coasters, sports, or anything that might strain her spine, Lisa lived cautiously for years—until one day, she made a powerful decision.
No longer willing to feel weak or held back, she chose to reclaim her strength. Embracing movement and exercise, becoming a coach, and going to the gym—these became her medicine. In fact, staying active helped ease her pain more than any treatment she had received.
Lisa reminds us that even when the pain doesn’t disappear, the spirit can still rise. Through resilience, courage, and listening to her own body, she now lives a life that honors both her limits and her strength. This episode is a testament to the power of persistence, the healing force of movement, and the choice to be a victor—not a victim.
