Life in Fife is an online archive and podcast documenting Fife and all its people from ex-miners to artists and everything in between.

Fife has so much to offer and there are so many great stories in this Kingdom that have never been told, until now. These are businesses, charities, creatives, community groups, and individuals with a story to tell.

Each episode is like a mini documentary creatively produced with the interviews and archive content that have been edited into shorter, enjoyable and easy-to-listen-to episodes.

I’ll record local anniversaries, discussions about former industries and local creatives, musicians and artists. I'll be talking to local businesses, from someone's side hustle to high street names. As well as shining a light on the charities and community groups helping Fife's people in the background. Everyone has stories and unique skills that are valuable to share.

Preventing the loss of local knowledge, highlighting groups that people can get help from or volunteer with and connecting local communities.

    Life in Fife is an online archive and podcast documenting Fife and all its people, from ex-miners to artists and everything in between.

    In this special preview episode, I speak with Stephen who once captained the ferry boats that crossed the Firth of Forth before the Forth Road Bridge was built.

    I am currently Crowdfunding to build an online home for Life in Fife and launch this podcast properly with a 10 eisode series.

    But to build this community with Life in Fife I need your support.

    I need to raise £5000 to bring this podcast and archive to life. This will help to set up the project, provide resources to go out and record and build an online home for the archive and podcast.
