このコンテンツについて

We are excited to launch the Life Sculptors Podcast where we have conversations that help your life take shape. The format of this podcast is structured around reading children's books and extracting life lessons for adults. There is a saying that everything we needed to learn about life we learned in kindergarten. Our early childhood educators know that the secret sauce to deep learning is through story. So we'll use story to make our conversations "stickier" in hopes that the lessons will remain with you long after you finish listening. You can learn more about us at www.lifesculptors.org

  • What Is "Bad" Behavior Really Telling Us?
    2025/09/05

Why do we call certain behaviors “bad”? Most of the time, it’s because they make us uncomfortable, disrupt the status quo, or don’t fit into what’s considered “acceptable.” But what if “bad” isn’t the end of the story? What if it’s actually the beginning of something new?

In this episode of the Life Sculptors Podcast, we read Bad Bunny by Jonathan Bentley and explore the deeper purpose behind behaviors and attitudes that get dismissed as “bad.” From listening to behavior as communication, to the tension between compliance and conviction, to how cultures define “acceptable” differently — we’ll uncover how reframing “bad” can unlock hidden strengths and make space for difference.

  • What is Empathy? Imagine Being Me
    2025/08/22

What if empathy isn’t about agreeing, but about being present? In this Life Sculptors episode: "What is Empathy?", we take a playful children’s book and turn it into a powerful reflection on adult connection. When I Was an Alligator by Gayle Webre becomes our launchpad into an honest, challenging conversation about what it means to see the world through someone else’s eyes—and how “what if I were you?” is more transformative than “if that was me.” Curious. Grounded. Present. That’s how we grow. Tune in now and imagine your way back into connection. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share with someone who needs this reminder: You are exactly enough.

  • How to Live Through Uncertainty
    2025/08/04

We all hit those moments when the future feels foggy and uncertain — not because we’ve failed, but because life is shifting in ways we didn’t expect or choose. In this episode - How to Live Through Uncertainty, we explore how to navigate that uncertainty with wisdom, grace, and courage. Drawing from research on uncertainty tolerance, real-life experiences, and the honest reflections of those who’ve walked through liminal spaces, we ask: What does it look like to keep going even when you don’t have clarity? Can the road ahead unfold because we move — not just after we’ve figured everything out? How do we honor the pain of uncertainty without rushing to resolve it? You’ll also hear practical steps for navigating the unknown, and why small, courageous choices matter more than perfect plans. This episode isn’t about quick fixes or easy answers. It’s about learning to walk with the unknown — and discovering that not knowing doesn’t mean you’re lost. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share this episode with someone who might be facing a crossroads. You are exactly enough.
