  • The Pressure to Be…
    2025/06/11

Ever feel the pressure to be something, have something, do something, achieve something, or maybe all of the above? Same. I often find myself sitting in that feeling, trying to reconcile where I am with where I thought I’d be.

So, we’re talking all about it! I’m chatting with Cindy, and I’m so thankful for her wisdom as I navigate the pressure I sometimes feel.

I hope that as you listen, you’ll resonate with the feelings we unpack and be reminded that the self-induced pressure we carry doesn’t define us, or mean we’re behind or off track. Chances are, if you reflect back (just like I have), you’ll notice the detours have made for some pretty memorable and life changing moments along the way.

So, if you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by all the “shoulds,” this one’s for you. And hey, just a reminder: this is everyone’s first rodeo, and honestly, we’re all just figuring out which direction the horse is supposed to go.

PS. Please report back on how often you are all using the word 'irrepressible' these days.

  • From Bolivia to India: The Gift of Perspective
    2025/05/28

In this episode, Jay and Noah share their stories from missions trips to Bolivia and India—not just what they saw but how those experiences changed the way they see the world and their communities. From new cultures to deeper faith, they open up about the moments that shifted their perspectives, challenged their comfort zones, and left them walking away different than when they arrived, and how those shifts are shaping the way they live today. I’m so inspired by these two guests and the way they courageously serve and intentionally connect with others in such impactful moments.

You can find details about Child of Mine here, and International Justice Mission here, two incredible organizations making a significant impact in the communities they serve.

PS. I hope when I grow up, I'm as eloquent and cool as Noah.

  • Celebrity Sightings, Subway Rats, and Skyscrapers - It’s an NYC Trip Recap!
    2025/05/21

We crossed off a lot on the NYC checklist, and naturally we had to share it on the podcast! Daniel, Tash and I are recapping the highlights, everything from spotting a record number of celebrities to a classic subway rat sighting (because what’s a trip to NYC without one?), plus so many other unforgettable moments.

We’re also sharing one of our favourite hidden gems: attending live studio audience tapings for TV shows! We’re absolute suckers for behind-the-scenes movie magic, so naturally we ate it up. If you’re anything like us, you’ll love it too.

And of course, we couldn’t help but fall down a skyscraper construction rabbit hole (because why not?). So buckle up, we’re sharing some of our new favourite facts (thanks in advance for indulging us). We wrap it all up by sharing our thoughts on the 9/11 Museum and the Hell’s Kitchen Broadway show, brought to us by my girl Alicia Keys!

All in all, we had the best time and can’t wait for you to hear all about it.

Oh, and Ed Helms, if you’re listening… turns out you’re only 51. Our bad. You didn’t age quite like we thought you did.

  • Lessons from Our Mother
    2025/05/14

It’s a full house on the podcast today, and we’re diving into stories about one of our all-time favourite people—Nans! In honour of Mother’s Day, my mom, aunt, cousin, sister, and I are gathering around the mic to share the lessons we've learned from our grandma and reflect on the impact she’s had on each of us.

We’re also taking a moment to celebrate the incredible mothers in our lives—the women who continue to show up, love hard, and lead with strength and grace.

Oh—and Ria brings up a conversation I apparently blacked out of… and honestly, maybe for good reason. Sorry, Nans 😅

  • From Idea to Impact
    2025/05/07

Ever had one of those moments where you just knew you had to do something—where what you experienced moved you so deeply, you had to provide opportunities for others to feel it too? That’s the kind of moment Andie had, and it's what sparked the beginning of the Running on Faith Project.

I’m so honoured that Andie joined me on the podcast to share the heart and story behind this powerful organization she founded. Over the past few years, I’ve had the absolute privilege of cheering her on from the sidelines as she’s poured her heart, time, and energy into building something that is changing lives, one step at a time.

Running on Faith Project partners with local temporary housing and recovery centers to offer learn-to-run and walking programs for individuals experiencing homelessness or navigating recovery. These programs offer more than just physical movement. They provide connection, purpose, and a path toward healing. It’s a beautiful reminder that movement can be a catalyst for transformation, both mentally and emotionally. Running on Faith Project was just awarded the Social Innovator of the Year for BC and Northern Canada, and they’re just getting started.

If you’re curious to learn more, catch @RunningOnFaithProject on socials or check out their website. From there you’ll see options to support financially and ways to plug in and volunteer!

  • What Should I be When I Grow Up?
    2025/04/30

Rumour has it (okay, I started the rumour — so sue me) that we’re all still asking this question, whether we admit it or not. Thankfully, I had a conversation with Jeff! He’s seen me grow up, and at the same time, I got to see him make some really big career shifts (actually... wait... no seven-year-old cares what job an adult has), but at least now I’m inspired by his career path!

Jeff is sharing some insight about his journey, which has taken him through literally all kinds of industries and roles. He also drops a ton of wisdom for those of us still navigating the good ol’ career path and figuring out our next moves.

I hate to say this, but he also shared some advice that lines up with something else we’ve heard on the pod... just try to figure it out, be curious, and honestly — how hard can it be???

  • A Set of Twins, a Triplet, and a Quadruplet Walk into a Bar…
    2025/04/23

It sounds like the start of a bad joke, but really, it’s just my friend group! It turns out that multiples really do find each other and stick together. Only 3% of people globally are multiples, and we’re sharing the inside scoop on what it’s really like (spoiler alert: it’s the best).

We’re talking about how growing up as multiples has shaped us—how it’s impacted our identity, our level of competition, and how our dynamics have shifted as we’ve gotten older.

And if you’re a singleton, this is our formal apology on behalf of all multiples everywhere: we’re sorry.

  • The Millennial Midlife Crisis Pt. 2
    2025/04/16

We’ve got more commiserating to do. Syd is back in the studio with me, and don’t mind us as we both take turns getting on our soapboxes. This time, we’re talking about how the millennial midlife crisis impacts relationships, dating, experiences, travel, and hobbies. Not to completely throw both of us under the bus, but we have LIVED this one… if you know what I mean. Together, we’re trying to navigate the ups and downs.

Or maybe this episode is actually just our app recommendations? Honestly, who knows… but if you want to check out the apps we’re talking about, you can find them here:

    • Good to Go
    • Croissant
    • CityMapper

And on the days when it all feels like too much, I’d highly recommend doing what Sydney taught me, which, so far, has been more effective than anything else I’ve tried… just say, “that’s showbiz baby,” with some jazz hands and keep going.
