Over the course of his conversation with Antoniyah and McKenzie, he touches on the importance of finding your village, the impact Boys & Girls Clubs had – and continues to have – on him and the ways challenges and successes shape our perception of the world.
Lt. Gen Smith is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, Army Airborne School, Command and General Staff College, and the National War College. He holds Masters degrees from Central Michigan University and National Defense University. He is also a proud alumnus of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta’s Warren Club and has been inducted into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Alumni Hall of Fame.
