In episode 5 we are diving back into our first chosen book Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice!!

Episode 5 consist of Volume II : Chapters 25-29

Full transparency listeners today’s episode is a bit on the tangent heavy side of things but still fun! The ladies are back for their second batch recording session and take sometime to catch up on all things that are life. Then the two discuss reading related questions and opinions. If you, as a listener, are fully locked in and want to bypass the chit-chat and dive straight back into our story, you can start at the time stamp 18 minutes and 10 seconds. Our story is starting to pick up the pace as we get into Volume II!

The ladies go in a bit deeper discussing what are our other characters elements of "pride" and how are they getting in their own way. Jane and Lizzy, come to a truce on the Bingley subject. Ella is at her wits end with pondering over Bingley's departure and Leigh assist with reeling her back in to see reason. Two of characters find themselves MARRIED!! We learn more about Wickham and how he hopes to navigate life. Then it's time for Lizzy and Charlotte to be reunited; as she, sister Maria and Father Lucas make their way to the Collins Cottage! Where we finally get to meet the Queen! Lady Catherine de Bourgh

It’s the morning after the Netherfield Ball. Elizabeth is presented with a question, that one character believes is the opportunity of a life time! The ladies do a full break down of all the bullet points on Cousin Collins’ “future wife” check list. The Bingley party departs Netherfield Park with zero warning. Leigh elaborates on Caroline Bingley’s motivations behind all of her actions. Wrapping the episode up with the plot twist, that might give you whiplash, and none of us saw coming. Discussing one of our characters decision. Exploring the factors of the time that would have impacted this character to make the decision, that they did.

Buckle in listeners, we have arrived to one of Ella‘s absolute most favorite chapters in this entire book. We are diving in to the most insane, unhinged, wild night, that is never ending for our main lady Miss Elizabeth Bennett. It is the Ball at Netherfield Park! Buckle in!! Hold on to your bonnets! This ONE chapter, is our entire episode!! We are so ready to get into all of the insanity, that every single person contributes. Is it a competition? Maybe? In this in episode we are diving a bit deeper into the Bennet's current position in life and why marriage is so important to our Mother Bennet. We also are introduced to some wild characters. We have our Cousin Mr. William Collins and BOY! do we get a lot of character from him. These chapters ARE hilarious and DO NOT disappoint in the antiques! As well as expressing how much a dynamic, can quickly take a turn and unravel in a book! Including how off base some people can be when they’re shooting their shot.
