Jeremy talks about the forum and his meeting at the Office of the United States Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, where student union representatives from across the globe described closely following the proceedings of our Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion. Jeremy also details the value of his visit to the Australian Embassy in Washington, DC. Finally, he discusses the ways in which positive engagements with university administrations established by other attendees could be applied here.

Morry Frenkel speaks with Associate Professor Jeremy Goldin, Vice-President of the Australian Zionist Healthcare Alliance (AZHA), about the establishment of the organisation and its role as an advocate for Jewish and non-Jewish health providers, medical students and patients who have suffered or witnessed antisemitic abuse. Jeremy describes some of the more than 100 incidents that are part of the AZHA’s submission to the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion. He also talks about the potentially serious consequences of cancelling an Israeli trauma surgeon from attending a conference just weeks before the terrorist attack on Bondi Beach. While some hospital administrators have been pro-active in dealing with antisemitism, others continue to ignore the problem.
