Morry Frenkel speaks with Dr Nicole Brooks, CEO of Hadassah Australia about its parent organisation, Hadassah Medical Organisation (HMO) in Israel. Nicole describes the role of Hadassah Australia in promoting the breadth of specialty services provided by the HMO, its front-line medical research and technology, and raising funds to support its important work. She also provides details of a number of services, including anti-gravity treadmill technology and mental health care, which need philanthropic support. Hadassah Australia is hosting screenings at the Jewish International Film Festival (JIFF) of the documentary “Labors of Love: The Life and Legacy of Henrietta Szold”, which tells the story of the founder of Hadassah, one of history’s most influential and under-recognised Jewish women.
