Jessica tells us about a time when she was voted the first Latina Female Student Body President at Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, Oregon in 1997 and immediately experiencing racism from her peers after her victory.  We talk about being shamed for not being fluent in spanish and how much we are forvever fighting for a seat at the table of leadership. We talk about road trips and how hard it really is to travel with kids especially while trying to eat healthy.
