このコンテンツについて

'Killer Songs 'is a one-of-a-kind true crime podcast that doesn’t just tell the story — it sings it. Each episode blends gripping true crime storytelling with an original, professionally written and performed song inspired by the case. Alongside crime stories, the show also tackles vital social issues like suicide and abuse against women, creating space for awareness and empathy.

What makes Killer Songs truly unique is that it goes beyond earbuds: I’m a professional announcer, singer/songwriter, and performer who can bring the show to the stage, performing the stories and songs live. This gives the project multiple dimensions — podcast, original music catalog, and a live event experience.

It’s true crime with a heartbeat — part story, part soundtrack, part movement.

  • Madam LaLaurie - Never Said Goodbye
    2025/10/14

Madame Delphine LaLaurie was one of the most celebrated socialites in New Orleans

Wealthy. Educated. Married to a respected physician.

She hosted elaborate galas in her Creole mansion on Royal Street.

But her house held a secret. A secret that would shake the city — and echo across centuries.

On April 10, 1834, a fire broke out in the kitchen of the LaLaurie home. Neighbors rushed in to help. But what they discovered would become legend.

    This was not a house.

It was a chamber of horrors.

Savannah Weaver sings today's song, "Never Said Goodbye"

  • Killer Songs - Lifeline
    2025/10/07

Today’s episode is a little different.

This one isn’t about murder, scandal, or drama. It’s about something real. Something heavy. And something that doesn't get talked about enough.

Every year, thousands of young men take their own lives. In many countries, suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 40. Not accidents. Not illness. Suicide.

It’s a crisis hiding in plain sight.

And the silence around it? It’s part of the problem.

I’m not looking for villains today.

This isn’t that kind of episode.

This is for the ones who are still here.

The ones who’ve struggled, or are struggling now.

Or the ones who’ve lost someone — and don’t know what to do with the space they left behind.

Today's song is a stark solo performance of a song called 'Lifeline.'

Please rate, review and share with your friends.

We will get back to something 'creepier' next week, but this one has been on my heart.

  • Killer Songs - Haunted Road, For the Murdered and Missing Women
    2025/09/30

They call it the Highway of Tears.

A stretch of road so long and lonely, it swallows names.

Girls vanish on the wind. Mothers fade into fog. Today, we drive down a road haunted by loss, and silenced by decades of neglect.

Highway 16 cuts across the wilderness of northern British Columbia — from Prince Rupert to Prince George. It's 725 kilometers of pine trees, mountain passes, isolation… and tragedy.

Since the 1970s, at least 40 Indigenous women and girls have gone missing or been found murdered along this road.

But ask the local communities, and they’ll tell you: The real number is likely higher. Much higher.

Some were hitchhiking — with no other option to get between remote towns. Some were walking home. Some were just never seen again.

For decades, these disappearances were met with shrugs from police, headlines that barely made page four, and systems that failed to even keep records.

And all the while, the road kept taking women.

This episode is special, it features my daughter Savannah Weaver singing the song, 'Haunted Road.'
