Surely any podcast would make sure if they had a star of a certain famous sci-fi show as their guest the day before a brand new series, the hosts would at least talk about it said show?

Not the Rambling Club!

Our Guest President this week, leading the members Tony Slattery’s Rambling Club, is none other than television icon and Doctor Who assistant Katy Manning! Come and join in as guest President Manning leads us on a ramble through three special destinations chosen entirely at random with the use of Tony’s enchanted bingo machine. As ever, the omniscient voice of Sir Stephen Fry is on hand to keep a hand on the lead of the Alsatian of ignorance!

First stop is destination number 307: Communities. Where to start with that one? It doesn’t really matter as they’re off subject within a matter of minutes!

After that number 133 awaits- Parapsychology and Occultism. A lesson awaits here- the actress and the character are not the same. One day we’ll discuss spooky things with someone who believes in such things! However, two tales of non-existent appendicitis? Surely that’s a bit spooky? Isn’t it?

Number 791 is our final destination- public performances. And we don’t mean having a wee in the street. Off we go…

After all that it’s time to head back down the garden path to Tony’s shed, to relax after rather a packed show.

If nothing else it’ll kill time whilst we await these tariffs!
