  • EPPY 1 - Puppy Brain
    2021/01/02

An brief overview of what to expect during our journey together.

This podcast is intended for the following types of people:

    • People who are aware they are addicts and want to work a health recovery program
    • People who question their relationship with alcohol and are seeking support
    • People who have unhealthy relationships with themselves or loved ones
    • People who want to learn more about themselves in general
    • People who want to learn
    • People

I've even assigned homework for our overachievers out there who are questioning their relationship with alcohol. Here's what that looks like

    • Suggested reading: Allen Carr's Quit Drinking Without Willpower: Be a happy non-drinker
    • Suggested reading: This Naked Mind by Annie Grace
    • 10-20 Negative Consequences:  "As a result of my substance use, one time I ______. I felt ______ and _______. I promised myself __________. I used again within ________."
    • 10-20 Benefits/Blessings:  "As a result of my recovery program, a benefit I have experienced or expect to experience is __________. I feel or expect to feel _______."

This is a suggested exercise to help you see the clear negative emotions/consequences caused by using vs. the benefits/blessings of releasing your habit and living a drug-free life.

Here's hoping this helps any one person feel supported and loved through life. You're not alone.
